Solid product
I was skeptical of the price but most other options were double the price. Been driving with the housing for about 6 months and so far so good. The original was leaking after about 6 years of driving so I will have to see how long this one holds up. Some tips about installation:1. Be careful when removing the wire clips from the top of the lower intake area (not sure what they are called. My clips broke and I had to use a needle tip drive to remove them. They are the ones that you have to press in and pull out with the red plastic. The plastic breaks very easily.2. Putting the housing in place is very tricky. It has to pop into place and it’s not as easy as it looks in the installation videos I’ve seen. It takes a very specific placement to pop into place so be careful of that before screwing anything in.3. Make sure to oil the gaskets prior to putting the housing in place as this will protect them from the friction and prevent leakage.4. Make sure to tighten all screws in order according to the manufacturers manual. Make sure you get a torque wrench that tightens in inch pounds.5. This is a long job! You have to drain the coolant and oil before you do anything so make sure you have all the tools you need and be prepared not to go anywhere for at least 5 hours lol.6. I’m a total noob at auto repair and I was able to do this job. Have confidence in yourself and get all the tools and you can do it!

Good quality oil filter housing !
This was a great oil filter housing ! At first I was skeptical about the mixes reviews, but that was put at ease after the install. First thing is that the oil gaskets/rings are of decent quality. The people writing negative reviews about the seals/o-rings probably didnt install the part properly. Remember to push the housing down into place straight and until you feel it slightly pop into place. If you begin to tighten the screws prematurely, it will surely leak. Do not begin tightening screws until you are certain that it is aligned and pressed down completely. When tightening the screws, be sure to use a cross pattern to evenly distribute the pressure. Keep going around, making sure that the end result is all screws remaining snug when checking. Do not over torque. Just snug and quarter turn. Again, as I thought some screws would still be tight when checking again...they came slightly loose. Go around in the pattern until the screws are snug every time you check after tightening another. Time consuming but worth it. Several months with no leaks. Great product, just be sure to install it with patience 👍🏻

Messy arrival, helpful customer support.
The product arrived in bad shape (box was destroyed and the sensor end of the part was sticking out and exposed) but I couldn't be without my car so I installed it anyways hoping for the best. Install was fine but the part did not function properly, likely due to getting beat up in transit. I ended up putting my old part back in the following weekend.Seller offered a full refund and I advised them what I believed the issue to be. There was no packing material and the heavy part was just kind of bouncing around in the box that was too large for it, causing damage to both the box and the part. Add some durable packing material and/or wrap the part up better and it'll likely prevent the issue in the future.Other than that the part fit perfectly in my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it looked like a replica of the OEM part.

Appears to be a good unit with one slight issue
This is my 3rd oil cooler I have ordered since the last two ended up leaking. This one looked similar to all the others. I will note that the seals appeared better than the last one I installed. The only issue I had with this product is that the neck on the oil tube that has the o-ring around it was too thick. It wouldn’t go down in the metal tube so I had to do a good bit of sanding on it to get it to g in. It’s in there tight so we will see how things hold up. I’ll check back and give an update when/if this one starts leaking.UPDATE: Well, it lasted 8 months until I got the all too familiar transmission covered in a mixture of coolant and oil. So for the 4th time, I took off the upper intake only to find a pool located all around the oil cooler. I won’t put all the blame on these manufacturers since Jeep did a TERRIBLE job designing this oil cooler, but how hard is it to make a plastic part that properly seals? I won’t make the same mistake a 5th time. This time I will spend the extra cash and buy a Mopar version of this cooler.

CHEAPER AND STURDIER THAN OEM
43 y/o, 23yr Husband, 23yrFather of 5, 21yr Carpenter, 30 yr Home Mechanic. I have never used a "Mechanic"on any vehicle Ive ever owned. That said...2012 Grand Caravan Crew PlusO.E.M Oil Cooler developed massive leak at 220,000 miles. O.E.M was ridiculously priced, and Unavailable dealer part at all major auto parts stores. Order this product. Best replacement part I have ever put on a vehicle. Construction was better than O.E.M, with thicker plastic and extra reinforcement on the built in Oil Filter Housing. Do Not Buy O.E.M products, research your part and match identifying serial numbers, and you wont be disappointed.
