Cosmos Arm Sleeves

I get sleep marks on my arms when I sleep. These sleeves protect my arms and I no longer have sleep marks when I wake up. They are comfortable and I don't even know they are on my arms. Love them!

I dislike my left arm getting burnt all summer when I drive, and I had tried all sorts of cooky ideas that I thought up.None of them worked. One day after I injured my arm, I realized that the sleeves the athletes use would cover my arm and reduce the sun damage that I get every year. For the price of one with other brands, this one gives you multiple colors. The product is lightweight, it does not feel horribly uncomfortable, but this has not been a hot summer either. The only downside is on the package, you see Asian women modeling the product which goes all the way up to their shoulder. Ummm, on the average American arm, it will go up to your elbow, not over your triceps unless you have thin arms. I would recommend this product, I am sure you will find many good uses for it.

Yes, they do fit as expected, but I give four stars just because they do not fit me as well as I hoped. That is only because I do not have those skinny little Asian arms for which these sleeves are originally made! Hahaha. Since I like all that heat and sun on my arms less than a sleeve that does not cover all the way, I will say they are good enough. I wear them all the time and like the variety of colors. When I'm in the garden and an occasional breeze wafts by, I feel the cooling effect that the sleeves are named for. I especially like when I'm driving how my left arm does not get as dark as an over-baked potato anymore.

These are great little sleeves. They are definitly for smaller female arms and are just barely long enough for me. (I'm 5'7" with fairly long arms.) They are very stretchy and fit tightly, almost like compression wear. I tried using them during cooler days to help keep warm without wearing a jacket and found that they were not designed for this. The material tends to cool the skin rather than warm it--as designed.I would like them better if the tacky "hi-cool" letteriing were not so prominent. They are virtually weightless and can easily fold to fit into your pocket. They tend to slide down if you are working out, but stay in place well enough for hiking, light gardening or strolling about. I expect them to last for at least one season. They are not nearly as well constructed as the Patagonia sleeves that I paid 29.00 per pair for--but they are a fabulous value for the money.

These are awesome! Riding a motorcycle in the Florida sun, I prefer wearing these on my arms, rather than sticky sunscreen. They are cooling - even the black ones. And when it's really hot, I wet them and then they really cool me down. When we reach our destination, they are easy to slide off. Multiple people have asked me where I got them. One person said they bought a (popular name brand) pair at a chain sports store, and they paid almost 3x what I paid for these, and I got 5 pairs compared to their one pair. And that person couldn't even wear theirs because the elastic was so tight! The elastic in these is just right. I'm sure it will stretch out in time, but I've already washed them (in a mesh bag in the washing machine) several times and they are still holding up well.

I was hesitant to buy these because many of the reviewers complained that these were shorter than they looked in the pictures, and/or too short to be helpful. I was relieved to find that, on me at least (5' 1.5" woman) they're almost too long. They reach up under a short-sleeve T-shirt, and they would reach higher if I wanted them to but I wanted to keep them out of my armpits. For some reason, though, the pink ones are randomly a bit tighter and a bit shorter than the rest of the pairs. They do feel a bit cheaply made, but for such a cheap price I really wasn't expecting any different. I am excited to wear these (except the pink ones) to avoid getting unsightly freckles on my arm while I am driving and to avoid sunburn when I am working outside.

I'll bet there aren't many customers that use this product for the reason I do. I work at a niche, high-end grocery store and my forearms were getting cut by the paper bags we used to bag purchases. I was also developing rashes which was attributed to the the agent used to recycle the bags. I was miserable and my arms looked as though I'd been defending myself against knife wielding assailants. Not only was I in discomfort but I was embarrassed by how awful my arms looked. No more. These sleeves effectively protected my arms so the could heal and, as a bonus, kept my arms warm in our rather cold store environment. They look like sleeves of a shirt so no thinks twice about them. I've also bought a few more pairs for co-workers. I won't work without them again.
