Beautiful barn door!!
We have been looking at multiple barn doors for our shed conversion. A lot of the doors were quite expensive. This door looked like it was easy to assemble and the perfect price. The parts all came labeled and I applied urethane to them all prior to putting the door together. We decided to glue the door together as we have a lot of humidity in our area. The door was very easy to put together. It only took about 40 minutes. We did decide to attach a one by four ledger board prior to installing the barn door track. We attached that directly to the studs and then attached the barn door track and through the barn door up, and it was easy Peezy. We love it, we think it turned out great and it definitely does the job. I would highly recommend this for the money. It was a great option and I think itโll last a long time.

Excellent hardware
This sliding door hardware worked perfectly. As long as you install it level and hang a square door level from the rails, it slides with one finger. Although the directions are a bit off (as others have said) I did not have to redo any steps. Read everything first and make sure that you install the stops before bolting on the track as that step is out or order in the directions. Makes the installation much easier. This came with bolts for a 1 3/8 door (separate package) and a 1 3/4 door (packaged in the spacers). It also came with masonry anchors. Really, it has whatever you need. I installed a 3/4" decorative header board because I needed the door to get past both base boards and quarter rounds. Hangs perfectly and clears everything. I would buy this again if I ever need to put up another barn door. For the door, I made an 87"X87" and the system handled it well. I used 1/4" plywood with 1X4 trim on the surround and cross braces. I put the trim and cross bracing on both sides for rigidity - resulting in a 1 3/4" wide door. Worked perfectly. The only complaint is that all the measurements are metric and the bolts are metric head. Certainly not a deal breaker but it did require lots of marking in place rather than measuring because my measuring tape is standard and does not have millimeters. Not a big enough complaint to lose a star!

I can't believe the quality for the price!
I was looking to make a sliding barn door that was at least 6' across and it looked like it was going to cost me at least several hundred dollars in just hardware alone. However, I found this product, which was less than $100, and gave it a try. Guys, I made my own barn door and installed it on this track for less than $200 total. For a 6' barn door on a 12' track. It works so well and looks incredible! I'm so proud of it! I do want to point out that this track needs to go into studs and it's likely that your studs won't line up with the holes, so you'll need to install a header board that goes into your studs to install the track on. We were able to plan far enough in advance that we were able to set the wall anchors in place, then install the header board, then install the hardware for the track and that bad boy is up there nice and securely! But do not install this merely in drywall with anchors. You're asking for a disaster if you don't put this into studs- trust me, I work in insurance so I've heard it all. I am so excited about this awesome statement piece!

Great quality. Sturdy.
Very happy with the barn door kit. It was easy to assemble and install even without directions. Works perfect. Wheels seem to roll very nice and are whisper quiet. Only mod I made was to make a small dimple on top of the track where the wheel stops when fully open so the wheel sits in it because even with it being 99.9% level it still closes by itself...Door I built weights about 40 pounds but can open and close with 1 finger...that's how easy it is to open and close. I would have given it as 5 star if it came with instructions.

installation instructions hard to follow
good quality but instructions are a little hard to understand. The hardware mounting hole suggestions are wrong but once you figure that out easy to install

More difficult than it looks.
A few steps to accomplish the build and you will need some help hanging door and doing the alignment. I had to get a header board to screw door hanging material too and that made the install much easier. But itโs solid and looks great 10/10

Always the math!!
I didn't like the directions so much, they were a little complicated and I found that they were inaccurate as well when it came to measuring the distance between the top of the door and the center of the hole for the brackets. There were two different dimensions. My instalation was easy enough because what I had was three doors that actually opened on hinges. I wanted to make the center one a slider because it was annoying to always have to open it. So from the top of all the other doors is how I calculated all my measurements. I'm pretty sure that most of these kinds of sliding door brackets are going to be complicated in this way, i.e., MATH. I also elected not to use the bottom center glider because that meant that I would have to get a router and then make that cut and that seems a little bit inconvenient for hanging a door like this. So what I elected to do instead was find bracket that was for a closet door and modify it for my use. I also just installed new laminate flooring and I didn't want to drill holes into anything so I used double sticky tape to put the bracket on the floor. I think I need to invent some sort of a bracket that will be used in a situation like this because I could find nothing that would really work for what I intended. But as far as the rails, they are awesome and the wheels glide perfectly, there's no binding and I am happy with this setup.
