I had some off brand Gaff Tape that must have gotten warm in our shipping crates and ended up losing 90% of it's adhesive effectiveness. I had to borrow some from our AV partner and it was this brand. It worked great so I decided to pony up and order some for our stock. It's easy to use and holds very well, but easily tears into the correct length. It also peels back off when done without damaging surfaces or leaving excessive residue. For example, it left no residue on a podium that we used it to hold a sign from behind. It does leave a minute amount on our extension cords when we tape them down. It is very versatile and will stick just about anything to just about anything else. It's odorless and not too thick, so it doesn't bulk up cables or items you put togehter. So far, it has held up fine in our black cases during shipping. We're in Florida so we've already had upper 80s weather which translates into 110+ inside a truck or trailer, so it seems fine. Our AV crew has never had an issue with it and they use it every day.

I bought a roll of this 10 - yes, TEN years ago, and it still performs like new. No degradation of the adhesive and the cloth coating has not dried out. Extremely impressed, well worth the price. If you want a reliable tape that will last, get this.

I was hunting for a good gaff tape that both stuck well and removed easily without leaving residue. I tried many other garbage tapes(didn’t even use half the roll) and none of them even compared to this brand, and for the price too, it’s really not that expensive considering the performance you get from it. I’ve used this tape at gigs for about two months now and it definitely works for my needs. I’ve almost gone through 4 rolls and it hasn’t failed me yet. Sticks well and removes clean. You might see reviews saying “ahh it left an awful residue, never going to buy it again” don’t let dummies fool ya, they probably forgot to mention that had it stuck there for the whole summer through all the heat.. and no, it’s probably not going to pull up clean, it’s designed more or less for temporary use, tape cords down for a show, remove tape after a show. Just saying, keep that in the back of your mind when reading foolish reviews. ..Anyway.. Now all I need is to find a tape that will actually stick to the grille of my Vox.

This tape leaves goo on the carpet and hard surfaces. Once on, it really sticks. Does it's job of securing wires from being tripped over. Sturdy and a nice weight.

Excellent tape. Works very well. Had to subscribe for additional stock so we don't run out. Great when doing shows and working with musicial instruments and wires.

My favorite gaff tape. If you work in events or entertainment, you know how annoying the bad stuff can be. I would rather pay the slightly higher price of this brand over any others. It holds down well on all sorts of different surfaces and generally comes up without leaving anything sticky behind. The texture of the cloth is nice and rugged, but without looking ratty. My advice is to avoid the cheap stuff and go with this.

Fantastic tape. Very strong and works well. I found it to be effective on most surfaces that I have used it on. I used it on everything from rugs to plastic surfaces. This tape is expensive but worth the price. Sticks on to most anything or most any type of surface. Make sure the surface is clean from any grease, oil, dust, dirt, or finger prints. I wipe or clean the surfaces with alcohol before applying the tape. Make sure you do the job properly the first time. This tape can be a problem to remove once it is set for a while. It is removable, but with some work. Terrific and effective tape!
