I haven't even filled this batch of chocolate shells yet, but I'm already confident after looking through the back of the mold! My goal when painting chocolate molds is to make the bars and bonbons *colorful*...I love shimmer/shine/sparkle. What I've really wanted for ages is a truly holographic edible glitter that could be mixed with clear/sheer cocoa butter and applied to chocolate molds. I didn't think what I wanted was out there. I'm happy to say that I was wrong :) The color of this glitter is gold in the jar, and tremendously sparkly. It's full of chunky holographic rainbows - so, it's not a super fine glitter. It's absolutely beautiful! I could not discern any taste to the glitter. I do think the color may translate differently depending on your method of application. After I mixed about 1/3 tsp. of the glitter into my plain melted cocoa butter (which is pale yellow), and applied it as a first layer in the chocolate mold, the color read as slightly more of a silvery/neutral holographic glitter versus over the top GOLD. The effect is precisely what I wanted, but you may need to apply this a bit more aggressively, or layer it with similar color frosting/fondant/luster dust, if you want in-your-face gold. No complaints about the amount of product for the price. For my purposes, I don't use large amounts, so this small jar will last me a long time. I'm thrilled with this purchase, and would happily buy again!

I love glitter on cookies, cupcakes, and cakes. This gold hologram color is new and I am looking forward to using it. I will purchase again when I use this up.

These are beautiful on baked goods especially ginger bread houses! They do not work in champagne though. Just floats at the top.

This glitter made my cupcakes spectacular! The glitter was intense! This was the only glitter I found that was reviewed as being edible. I read a ton of reviews. I purchased a glitter pump to apply the glitter to the cupcakes. I got a ton of compliments. I purchased 2 containers of the glitter and I made 180 cupcakes. I applied glitter to all of the cupcakes and I didn't even use a whole container and they all were very sparkly. You won't regret buying this glitter but I recommend you purchase a glitter pump to apply the glitter. I did not wash the glitter pump when I was finished with using it in fear of the glitter hardening like sand. You won't regret this purchase.
