Good price. I have bought several of these and have been using them for several years in Ohio weather. They are attached to two, plastic, 55 gal drums. They become frozen every winter and still work great when they thaw in the Spring. Currently we have three 55 gal rain barrels and will use this product as we add more.

This product worked fine but, I wish the hole for the fitting was very tight and was difficult to install. once I did get the fitting in though it worked fine.

I bought the rain reserve downspout diverter, but it didn't include a hose and attachment for the rain barrel, so wound up buying this separately. It gets the job done but is too expensive for what you get.

This is the second one I have purchased. No leaks so far with the first one. I have four 55 gallon barrels without removable lids. I needed a system that would allow connection without inside access to the barrel. I did not want to cut the tops. This worked just fine. One warning, the hole you must cut is 1 3/16" and you may have to purchase either a spade bit or a hole saw. I now have 2 connected and will connect a 3rd. I won't connect the 4th until I see if I need it. If I do I will purchase this item again.

A little finicky to install, but that's because I refused to buy their non-standard drill bit (that's how they get ya) and instead opted for a size 1/16 smaller and a little bit of filing. The material feels flimsy, but it does work. I have used this kit to connect the two 55gal plastic drums in my rain collection system for about three months now, and it hasn't leaked a drop despite being near full the entire time. Overall, good product.

Installation was a snap. The tubing went right on. I did add hose clamps as the tubing didn't seem like it would stay on in temperature extremes. I was connecting two barrels near their base, so the shape of the tubing seemed unnecessary, but it didn't hurt the function. I have one con. The odd size opening. I have an adjustable bit so I didn't require their separate bit, but for most it unnecessarily raises the cost of the kit.
