Regatta Women's Romina Waterproof and Breathable Insulated Hooded Jacket Jacket (pack of 1)

I bought this jacket for my wife this Christmas and she is over the moon with it. Regatta is a much-trusted outdoor clothing brand in our household and as we do a lot of ‘outdoorsy’ activities, she wanted something practical for the day-to-day.I ordered her the size 16, which is one size bigger and it fits perfectly in all the right places. The added waist cord also helps in drawing the middle in to a tighter fit, but unlike other jackets with a drawstring, it doesn’t affect the rest of the jacket fit. The length is good too, stopping just above the back of the knees so suitable for dog walking.The jacket is warm, but a little thin in places and the ‘fur’ lining only goes in about 2 inches from the zip. It does however, line the entire fixed hood interior and cuffs. The jacket has one internal pocket on the left side, and two exterior at waist height which have rain hoods; fastened by two poppers. The arm length was a little long for my wife, but luckily, you can roll the cuff to expose the ‘fur’ and the popper still affixes to keep it tight around the wrist.It also has a metal double zip for fastening which means that with a jacket this length, all she has to do it zip up the second zip before getting the car so she can freely move her legs without the jacket restricting movement.It’s made from ISOTEX material with a rating of 5000, which relates to the jackets ability to withstand 5000mm of downward water pressure. This however, is the lower ISOTEX rating and so although it has withstood the usual winter weather, it wouldn’t really be suitable to keep you dry in a proper downpour. That said, as mentioned, this is more of a day-to-day jacket so it does the job. It has on occasion in the last week or so, let rain in at the seams after about an hour walking but we’ve had some pretty horrendous weather recently and even my North Face jacket began to do the same. The material does generate that irritating scratching noise when you walk as the material isn’t soft, so as long as you don’t mind it, it’s not a big issue.Overall, she’s really pleased with it how warm it is and how flattering it is too. In her own words, she would recommend this jacket!

Brought this jacket to walk to work so needed it to be lightweight, breathable and waterproof. It is all three and at a reasonable price too! I am a size 18 and 5'7'' and it fits well and comes down to my knee. It is very warm probably a bit too warm for me, but as it is breathable i haven't notice any build up of moisture. There is a light fur strip up the zip, in the hood, around the cuffs and a little on the shoulders. You therefore don't need much layering but if you want to layer with jumpers may be worth considering a size up.

I ordered this after much deliberation and reading all of the reviews too many times!I’m normally size 18/20 so really wasn’t sure what to order but played it safe and went for the 20 - so glad I did as it’s pretty snug, although I do have a large chest so often go a size bigger. Luckily the shoulders aren’t too baggy (which often happens) and the fit is really good, covering almost to my knees ( I’m only 5’4”) and the hood is a fantastic size and the zip is nice and strong. The pockets are two way, so great for plunging your hands in, or having clipped with my phone in.Really so chuffed with it - at my size most coats look awful and boxy but I’m so pleased with it and have had loads of compliments.

Bought this in navy. Lovely coat, seems nice quality, and very good for the price. Nice length which sits about mid-thigh on me at 5ft 6”. The only negative I can say is the sizing. I’m a UK 16-18 but wanted to size-up so I can wear a jacket underneath on really cold days. Bought a size 20 and it only just fits without looking tight!! I couldn’t wear much more than a lightweight jumper under it.

This is a terrific coat.I bought it for a very reasonable price and am impressed by the quality,beautiful finishing.I live on the seafront in the North East,and decided to be prepared this year for the challenging climate.I wore it yesterday in high wind&rain,warm and snug inside it.The two way zip is very useful for sitting in the bus or car.Fur trim is soft and flattering.I was almost deterred by references to the sound it makes,but I like it.A S M R crinkle,if you know that.Highly recommended, even at full prices.Chose your top size,especially to add a jumper in January,enjoy.

This is a really good coat, especially for the price. It will keep you dry and is good even on a cold day. The hood could be a little deeper, and the other thing I marked down for is warmth. It’s too warm for a decent day and too cool for a bad day. It’s a perfect autumn coat, and if you buy big will take you through winter with a jumper.

Fantastic coat. I needed a smart but practical coat for a trip to London during storm Dennis and this was my very last minute purchase which I am so glad I made. I don't usually like gold zips, toggles etc but the gold actually made it look smarter so was pleasantly surprised (the black/gold was the only one available).This coat fits to size, is warm but not too warm, hood stayed up even in strong wind and kept me dry. It is a little crinkly sounding but you don't notice unless in a quiet place so not really a big deal.Overall a great coat for a great price and it came next day with additional postage paid.

I have been looking for a couple of years now trying to find a good length water proof coat that isn't so hugely padded that I look 3 times bigger than I am. The hood was a good fit and didn't fall all over my face that I couldn't see out. Length down to my knees so kept my legs warm. The size was a good fit ; didn't have to breath in to do up the zip!Would highly recommend this coat.
