I LOVE this book!
This is by far one of my favorite nursing textbooks. I like how organized it is. Whatever you don't understand in the text, there is a chart to break it down and make it better to comprehend. Also, the workbook is a GREAT companion to the textbook and helps students pass the exam. To be comfortable about passing the exam, register the book online on Evolve and do the critical thinking and NCLEX questions for each chapter. You will for sure pass the exam because everything ties and works together. Pure awesomeness!

This is for my class I have right now and is really great! The website has resources for students that don't require any special code and give key points of the chapter and NCLEX type of questions.

Product Review
This book is great as text to follow the classroom lectures. It's nice to read and thorough to expand of each topic discussed. I recommend this book as a great source for Pediatrics.

Book is great for its info-had to do a lot of additional resource studying-I PASSED!
This book was required for my PEDs class. It is very detailed, specific, and has lots of writing, charts, etc. If you're familiar with nursing books, you will recognize 'Lippincott's' writing style and understand what I mean. There is a lot of information in this book, but I still had to do some additional research & resources to clarify some things and get better visuals. I PASSED the class, but I don't think it was because of this book, necessarily. The book on its own is an excellent book, but, PEDs is a challenging nursing concept and you just have to stay on track.

May help some, but I ended up not even using this book. It was optional for my class. I sold it to someone else. It's not the books fault, I just thought I would need help in the class. I didn't

Leading Pediatric Education
Wong has been the leader in pediatric nursing education for over 20 years. When it became time for me to update my education on pediatrics; I would only chose this source.

Good value.
Book was in good shape. Good value.

Good if you have a PhD and are fluent in medical terminology and Latin. Bad if you're a nursing student.
I'm not happy with this book at all. Although it is very detailed, it's almost detailed to a fault. They introduce acronyms without even specifying what they stand for or what they mean! Although the information is very dense, it has an underlying expectation of extremely well-versed medical jargon and background knowledge. I find myself looking up dozens of terms each chapter. The book does have some great collections of clinical signs and symptoms, which I do appreciate. However, each page is so poorly thought out and doesn't flow in a way that makes it easily comprehensible. Hate it, and I want to burn it..if only I didn't rent it, and if only I didn't need it for my class.

Brilliant for students
I do like this book a lot as it helps with my studies and gives me lots of very useful information. Definitely would recommend this as an aid to your studies.
