12yr old son loved it. It’s not super thick, but warm enough and super soft. Ordered Large. He’s slim, 5’1, 95lbs. It’s always hard to find waist fitting bottoms that are long enough. These are perfect. I ordered the red/black plaid and now ordered the white and black. Haven’t washed it so not sure if it will shrink, but doesn’t matter since I only expect him to wear until next spring because of growth spurts.

They were a perfect fit for my son, they are perfect for winters, and there's no weird feel! They are 100% cotton. Would definitely buy again, in fact i did!

I was looking for 100% cotton flannel Pajama pants for my grandsons, and they are next to impossible to find - everything is polyester! I am extremely happy with this purchase (3 pairs, different sizes) even though I paid more than I had planned, they are so well made they are worth the price!

Says large is 14/16 but I'd bet more to say the XL is that size. My 7th grader is about 110 pounds and 5'2. I tried both the L and XL. The XL fit him. He likes the feel of them and the length
