I don't write product reviews frivolously... I review items that I'm substantially moved by, upside or downside. That being said... I really like this product. I've been looking for a replacement daily hair moisturizer ever since Motions discontinued moisture enhancing hair dress and weightless clearing hairdressing and flooded the market with a bunch of bogus items. Many of the items on the market in terms of daily hair moisturization...has alcohol in it...an enemy of chemically processed african american hair...my hair, at least. Note; the abovementioned Motions products did not contain alcohol as a ingredient. The answer ... Coco & Co Coconut Oil. This product delivers moisturization par excellence... even more effective than my beloved Motions moisture enhancing hairdressing. Other moisturizers I've tried either dried out or coated my hair. This coconut oil permeates hair follicles delivering moisturization to the core, thus creating stronger and more manageable hair. Did I say really like....hmmm, might even be love... still too soon to say... One star docked until a lasting relationship develops. Sometimes we get it right though ...like purchasing Coconut & Co Extra Virgin Coconut Oil...After a long wrought crusude in finding the one, we finally found it. Dab a few drops of this liquid gold on your stressed out tresses and witness its restoration to magnificence. Inexorably, propelling you to forge ahead and strive, knowing you have found your true "hair love" so everything else life may throw at you ...is not that bad. Be your best self ...knowing for certain though many pitfalls may lay ahead, you finally have that hair situation resolved...because you found the one (Coconut & Co Extra Virgin Coconut Oil). ;^}Note: Product reaches liquid form at 76° Fahrenheit or higher.

I bought this because I've heard about the many ways coconut oil is good for your skin & hair - I've slowly been incorporating beauty products that use coconut oil over the past year. I loved those products and did a LOT of research on what brand to buy to use for beauty. This seemed to be the absolute best and though it was a little pricey I know as in any oil a little goes a long way so I took the plunge!I received this the day before Thanksgiving & I was so happy I did the next day!!For the holidays it is much easier for me to stay over at my grandparents house so that I can help with cooking and whatever else may come up. My grandmother is 67 years old and does most of the cooking herself but I help out where I can.She ended up scalding her barefoot (I'm not sure if it was turkey droppings or water). I immediately thought of the coconut oil as I'd read that it can help soothe burns. I rubbed some all over the top of her foot and she was amazed! The oil not only took sting out right away but even a few hours later you couldn't tell that she had burnt at all. She was amazed & told all of our guests that I had 'saved her' ☺️.I am happier than ever that I bought this - my normal very dry hands & feet are also delighted and super soft! I cannot wait to try this in my hair and I've got several DIY face masks I can't wait to try!When my jar runs out I will be buying the largest jar next - my grandmother already has, lol. This is my newest HG (Holy Grail) oil and I have recommended it to family and friends already!!!

5 stars! Amazing to remove makeup or clean & hydrate your face. Also great moisturizer. Used it as a treatment for my hair/scalp too. Winter is rough on my skin overall and scalp, this coconut oil is just great. At first I found it greasy until I tried using just a tiny amount on wet skin, and gently rinse excess and towel dry afterwards.I’ve ready reviews complaining about oil’s solid or liquid state: It doesn’t matter. It is related to your room temperature. If you’d like it more liquid, simply put it somewhere hot/warm or under hot water for a few minutes. Solid, somewhere a bit cooler. At my home it stays mainly solid.UPDATE after 6 months - downgrading to 4 stars: This is my 3rd order. Still amazing. Somehow the 8oz is enough for EXACTLY 3 months. So now I decided to order the 15.5oz to have enough for 6 months. I like the fact that the jar is thinner and higher because it fits perfectly in my shower items holder. BUT smell and formula is COMPLETELY different. The smell is awful like almonds, and the texture is less grainy, kind of smooth and sticky, so different from what i ordered before. I’m not sure why... I’m returning and purchasing back the 8oz hoping they didn’t change the formula. Pending the next order, I will either bring it back to 5 stars or down to 3 stars.UPDATE: I returned the 15.5oz, ordered the 8oz back and it’s fine (changing back to 5 stars). I don’t know if the scent of the 15.5oz was just different or simply too overwhelming because it was more product all at once. But the texture of the 15.5oz was slightly different too. I have simply subscribed to an auto-“refill” of the 8oz every 3 months, which is more than fine.

This is decent Coconut Oil, however it is priced to high.
