A lot less expensive than the wooden boxes and probably more durable in the long run.
It’s plastic so it doesn’t look like a genuine wood Chippendale planter but it works very well for living on a farm and having a house nowhere near the road and not all that close to the driveway! Assembly was easy but not without a few challenges – it doesn’t slide together perfectly well at first and one little plastic piece broke off while I was assembling it but it’s not a problem. It was the perfect size for my topiaries.

Flimsy, a pain to assemble
I would not waste your money on this. The first planter was damaged. I was separating pieces to assemble when a small plastic piece fell out. I realized it was a broken piece. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the side panel was cracked! Okay, so I check the 2nd planter. Looks okay. I work on assembling it and the pieces were so distorted I never could get them to align properly to put together! Beyond frustrating! I decided to just return it completely. Trying to unassemble it was a whole other fiasco... just so I could repackage it to ship back!Furthermore, it shipped to me in its original packaging, which is fine, but they were in TWO boxes. When starting the return process, Amazon issues ONE QR code. I find out after getting to UPS that they can't ship both boxes out with just one code. Something about how Amazon will or will not let them ship things back to them. The guy advises to get Amazon to issue a 2nd QR code for the other box or I can tape both boxes together if I had enough tape. My tape was at home. Thank goodness I was able to get a hold of Amazon customer support and get them to issue a 2nd code for the return. So unless you want to chance it, I would find something else, preferably something you can actually see and feel first.

beautiful
When I first received this planter I thought it was smaller than I wanted, but once it was snapped together it was exactly what I wanted. It was slightly difficult to assemble, but with a small amount of pressure it went together and looks beautiful on my porch. My only complaint is that I can not get the top to stay put so when moving it around have to be careful of where to grab it. That may be for planting reasons, unsure as it was easy to plant with the top sitting on it, rather than planting and then trying to put the top on around your plant. I love it and may purchase more.

Look nice
I love these once assembled. I gave 4 stars because they are a little flimsy and easily breakable during assembly

Decent Looking but Cheap Quality
The most important thing to know about these planters: bottom is not completely integrated with sides so you will need to use pots rather than planting directly. Make sure you snap in bottom piece before joining the sides and add the stabilizer disc. The material is lightweight plastic and has a kind of cheap feel so will have to be weighted down.

Planters
Easy to put together. These planters are plastic and reflect the cheap price I paid for them, but when I put mums in them in the fall, they will look just fine in my garden.

Hard to assemble and plastic material feels cheap and easy to break
Did not feel like planters were worth $23 each. The quality of plastic felt cheap and brittle. Only redeeming factor was the size of the planter. One planter arrived with pieces broken off from part of the assembly tabs and the support feet. Worried about how planter will hold us once you add dirt to it.Assembly was also very difficult. Needed 2 people, one to hold and support sides while the other had to use both hands to try and squeeze together the tabs. What made it hard was the amount force needed to squeeze/push on sides to get the tabs to fully inset and click together, but if you apply too much force it feels like you risk breaking the tabs off or breaking the sides.

Cute pot
Cute pot. Easy to put together and look very nice. It also seems to be durable. I got 4 of them. 2 white and 2 in the brick color.
