This required no set up at all which the handbook suggested it may, initiallly I only connected the front camera to see how it was and after plugging it in and starting the car the camera turned on and started recording, turn the ignition off and it too turns off, really could not be easier. Even if it requires set up as suggested it is a few basic steps that are easy to follow. I connected the rear camera but did not connect it to a live feed from the handbrake which allegedly gives you a reversing camera view on the display screen with reversing guide lines, just not needed so not used but again it is quite simple to connect to a handbrake feed if the driver has reduced mobility in which case it is very useful, otherwise the rear camera too works well. When viewing the display, the main picture is the front facing camera and there is a small square in the top right of the screen showing what the rear camera is seeing, the little square for the rear is too small to practically view whats behind you or to use as a reversing camera without a feed from the handbrake but it is recording what is going on and obviously if viewed on a lap top screen in case of an insurance claim the image is excellent and very clear even at night or in low light. You do get a micro sd card but it is an unknown cheap brand so a slightly better card is a good idea although none seem to last more than 12 months in a car-cam anyway. This camera was cheap but is well made, works as well as a previously far more expensive car-cam I had a few years ago and installation and set up are very simple. I simply can not drive without a camera anymore than I would ride my bike naked, they are absolutely essential to prove fault in any motoring claim, without video evidence if it just one drivers word against anothers the insurance company will always go 50/50 regardless of actual blame (my Wife works in insurance) so a decent car-cam is essential and this is all you need. Very good and very happy to recommend it.

This front and rear dash cam has really impressed me. The front camera was very easy to install and delivers good video quality, both during the day and at night. The rear camera works best when mounted externally, especially since a light comes on automatically when reversing at night, which helps illuminate through the rear glass. To keep the setup neat, I watched a YouTube video and ran the wires under the roof lining and carpet, so everything is tucked away and looks tidy—definitely worth the extra effort. Most importantly, the camera has already proven useful, capturing footage of an accident involving another driver. It’s reassuring knowing I have that kind of evidence if needed. Highly recommend this dash cam setup if you're looking for peace of mind and reliable coverage on the road.

For the low price this is a decent set up but do not confuse it with a more expensive dash cam. It comes with all the accessories needed including even the SD card. It looks good and it is simple to set up, even the reverse camera only took me about 20 mins to set up including splicing into the reverse light so it knows when in reverse. I have had it running about a week and all is fine. However, the negative parts are firstly it is not Full HD 1080p, even though it is set to that, when you look at the properties on a PC it is 720p, not a big deal but the picture full screen wasn't quite as good as i expected but good enough. Also the rear camera is slightly lower quality. Wen the SD card is inserted into a PC there are 2 files, one for front recordings one for rear. By pressing the lock icon on the dash cam it locks the files so they cannot be recorded over on the loop setting. The problem i had was when looking for these locked files they are very hard to find as the file name is not changed as with previous dash cams ive used. So unless you note down the date and time it just looks like a bunch of files. Obviously if you wait a few days and loop recording as gone around a few times these locked recordings will have moved to the top of the list as they'll have older dates. make sure all the extras are turned off like the parking assistant and g meter as they will keep locking recordings. All in all for the low price its an acceptable dash cam with all the accessories you need.

Great cameras. I bought two ,one for my car,one for the wife's. The suction mount is excellent and rock solid. Installing the rear camera wasn't difficult, even for a novice like me. Fed the wires through the roof trim and I stuck the one rear camera on the interior metal body work with the sticky pad provided and the other one in the other car, I screwed into the interior plastic,again with the screws provided. It all depends on the model of the car. It comes with usb stick and a memory card and everything you need to install it. I didn't wire the red lead to the reverse light for the reverse camera, which you can do, I just wrapped it around the black lead. We only wanted a rear camera. Great value ,very clear and I'd recommend it to anyone

This is a basic model but it does the job very well. Picture is very clear, with a fairly wide view. The cam mount has a good suction cup that stays in place. An sd card is supplied. The rear cam is a doddle to mount, instructions are easy to follow with a qr code access "how to" video. As mentioned in other reviews the buttons to use the cam and change settings are a bit fiddly but, for the price you could do a lot worse. All in all a good little dashcam and the company reached out to offer support, spares, repairs etc if needed, a nice touch. Give it a go.

A really decent 1080p dash cam, video quality is decent, and work quite well at night especially useful to have HDR mode. The menu system software leaves a lot to be desired, the button layout is fiddly and the build quality of the camera unit and mount is flimsy and plastic - certainly not high quality - but for the money I cannot expect much. However it's the battery life and power I have issue with. Running on battery only gives 15-20mins maximum running time in record. This means you have to use the supplied power cable running from the cigarette lighter port. Wiring this way is ugly. Given the size of the camera they could have supplied a bigger battery inside the unit to last longer for an average drive time. The 170º wide angle lens is ok, but field of view will have blind spot left or right side depending on size of your car, height and angle.

On reading (or reading and trying to understand) the instructions I became a bit puzzled and worried that I might have difficulty fitting the dash cam. The English instruction manual is I think translated from Chinese or Korean and is quite a ropey translation in places. However once I got started installing the camera it was a surprisingly easy task. I'm so very glad I didn't do something daft like pay someone to install it for me! It's easy to use once you get past the poor translation of the manual and the image quality looks to be very good. I like that the camera turns on and is immediately operational once I plug the power connector into the cigarette lighter socket. I would probably forget to turn it on were it not for this feature. The fit of the power connector in the cigarette lighter socket is very tight and it's a bit of a struggle to remove at the end of each journey but I can live with this as long as I don't end up ripping the socket out as a result of having to use a bit of force. I am yet to fit the rear camera as it was dark by the time I'd finished fitting the main unit at the front but I don't think it will be difficult. A small plastic tool was provided which enabled me to tuck the power lead just inside of the internal pillar and ceiling trim. Makes it nice and tidy. While I fitted it less than a week ago I'm already pleased I bought this dash cam and feel reassured to have it in the car. I'm not sure there's a reason to spend more money. I guess if you want tonnes of special features but this ticks the boxes for me. Safe driving all! :-)
