These are great. They are exactly the same as the ones used for my son's OT sessions. The design just works. They will definitely make learning to write much easier for him.

My newly 4 year old is a leftie and this works great for him! I showed him how to use it and he was writing with it 1 second later. He thinks it's fun and it's comfortable for him to write. It doesn't look like it will fit a toddler pencil (the thick ones) but it fit a regular pencil great. It's a tight fit so it doesn't slide around at all. Very happy with my purchase!

These are great. I have been running a licensed home day care for 20 plus years and found that I needed something to help the kiddos who were not holding their pencils correctly. These are perfect. I have used them with 2-4 year old children and have had no issues with their fingers not fitting. I received one of each of standard colors like purple, blue, green and red. This is perfect for me as each child is assigned a color, so they don't end up accidentally sharing. It saves me time not having to wash them after each use. The children find them comfortable and do not complain about using them.

This item was recommended to me by an Occupational Therapist. She said she uses them with elementary schooled aged children who have issues with pencil grip. I bought them for my son's pre-school teacher (he's 3) because she works with students on beginning writing skills. It's taught him exactly how to hold writing instruments. They can stretch to fit crayons and all sized pencils and markers.

My child likes holding a pencil or marker with 4 fingers instead of the pinched 3-tripod shape. I got the size small because he is Kindergarten age. The thumb and 1st finger fit ok, but his third finger has to be jammed tightly into the last grip space. We did schoolwork with it and it really helped him keep the shape even after we removed it. It is the best grip shape/setup we have used for a natural, non aggravating pencil hold. He likes it a lot, but after a few minutes, he started saying his finger hurt and it was really tight. So, I guess I have to buy the size medium for him then (which I think is a bit odd considering the description says Kindergarten age all the way to most adult females. Can you make an in between size? Like size small becomes XS, then say Kindergarten to age 10-11 ish, size small, then age 12-adult female be medium? That would make more sense. I just hope the size medium isn't rattling around on his fingers. He doesn't have massive paws either and he isn't overweight (like 50th percentile), so I can't imagine how size small wouldn't fit him at his age and size.

Bought for my 5 year old grandson (special needs). Had some trouble using all three fingers. Bought different one with only two fingers and it worked better. Now he can hold pencil and is getting with better accuracy. Still uses when tired though.

My 4 year old son was struggling with tracing and writing his name. We practiced daily, but he wasn't improving. It didn't help matters that his twin sister was already able to not only trace letters perfectly, but also write her name on a blank sheet of paper (no tracing). As I observed my son, I realized his issue was that he couldn't place his fingers on his pencil the "right" way, which was affecting his ability to control his writing. He would become frustrated and almost cry whenever I would make him practice his writing. The first day I received this item, I tried it out on my son. His tracing improved 100%! Not only that, he kept asking me if could practice some more--no tears, and lots of smiles. After only 30 minutes with these writing grips, he was able to write his name unassisted by me AND without tracing letters! He literally improved by a whole year in 30 minutes! I am very grateful for these writing grips because my son is no longer discouraged; he is very excited to learn!

These are a game changer for helping students master correct pencil grasp. Make sure you order small if using for pre-k.

Si funcionan y se ven de buena calidad, pero son muy pequeños para los dedos de mi peque, para niños de kinder creo que si funcionarían perfecto.
