This review is for the T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Dishwasher Safe Nonstick Cookware Set, 12-Piece, Red. I had not upgraded my pots and pans in quite awhile, so it was with great satisfaction that I now have this set. Definitely good quality and saved me a bundle over an Anolon set I was considering. This was also the only set I was able to find that had the exact number and type of pots and pans I was replacing. I was willing to try different set configurations, but only if they at least included a 1, 2, and 4 quart pot, a Dutch oven, and 2 frying pans, with lids for most or all of the pieces. (All the pots have lids and one of the pot lids fits the smaller fry pan, but the large fry pan is not so lucky.) After reading the reviews I had some trepidation, but I've been completely satisfied with my purchase. My set was clearly brand new, clean, and not damaged. I have not used them for long, but I just made an omelette with zero oil and it was amazing how fast it cooked and how it slid right out of the pan like a TV commercial. Very even cooking, something reviews on some other site(s) dinged this set for. The "T-spot" kind of worked; probably more gimmicky than useful long-term, but we'll see. Some tips to avoid some of the problems others have reported: 1. Never heat a pan or cook anything on high. You won't need to anyway, as the pans heat up so fast. 2. Follow included instructions for seasoning pans, something you may not think of doing for non-stick pans. 3. Never wash non-stick pans in the dishwasher, no matter what any manufacturer says. 4. Ditto on not using metal utensils--it's just begging to chip the teflon-like coating. 5. Allow pans to cool before washing to avoid warping. 6. Don't assume shoddy manufacturing if your pan gets dented after dropping from several feet onto a hard floor. AKA, use common sense. 7. Use some sort of protective pads between pans when storing. Some of the cardboard packaging it comes with is useful in this regard. Update 6/22/21: The last 3 pics are of my most used pan in the set. Notice that there is NO flaking or chipping of the teflon and the bottom is not badly darkened. Another reviewer showed their discolored and warped pan--which was clearly used on too high of a heat setting and/or cleaned when the pan was still hot. As mentioned previously, not going above medium-high heat, not putting pans in the dishwasher, waiting to clean until cool and lightly seasoning inside pan with oil occasionally has kept my set looking good and performing as well as the first day. This is not my first non-stick cookware. I know how to ruin them, so the advice I offered (which comes from the manufacturer, BTW) is solid. This set is still a good buy--and an even better one with Prime Day Deal.

Just an update... I'm still really loving these pots and pans. I've used them for several months, and they have no scratches and marks on them. I do continue to keep packing in between them so they don't scratch while being stored. I have had these for over a month already and am very impressed with them compared to the last set of Tfal cookware I had. These are a very good quality, heavy enough but not too heavy. Look very nice. The sizes of the pots are perfect. The best thing I like is there are actually four pots. Many sets only come with three. The lids are very nice and well made, fit well. I overcooked something in one the other day and it didn't even leave a mark in it. They wash clean very easily. Be sure to keep the liners that come in the box to use to keep between them so they don't get scratched while being stored in your cabinets. Be sure to use plastic or wooden utensils.

Great starter set of pans! Good quality for the money. Happy with the glass lids...they are easy to clean and do not hold finger prints like a high-end brand that I own. I would recommend these to anyone needing and affordable, new set of pans!

For the price, you’re getting premium quality, great performance, and long-term value. If you’re outfitting a new kitchen or just ready to upgrade tired old pans, this is a no-brainer.

I ordered these pots and love them. I love the sear I get on meats and the non stick works. Burn resistant and scratch resistant. I use a nonstick scrubber when needed. They clean easily and look great. The lids all fit! Easy to use and cook food evenly. I recommend.

Great set of non stick cookware. Love both skillets, best I've used in decades. They clean up so easily, truly non stick, sometimes I just wipe with a paper towel. Nice medium weight, not too heavy, not too light. Good heat distribution, great silicone handles. Use daily, no scratches yet, and I'm not terribly careful as a cook. Good in dishwasher if needed. Highly recommend. Wish they would sell the skillets separately too.

This cookware set is an absolute nightmare. The non-stick coating started peeling after just a few uses, and now food sticks everywhere. The handles feel cheap and unsafe, and some pots wobble on the stove. For a set advertised as “hard anodized” and “premium,” this is utterly false advertising. The pans heat unevenly, warp quickly, and are impossible to clean properly. I’ve never been more disappointed in a product — it’s a total waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this set at all costs. Do not buy!

Purchased 4 months ago and happy with it. I enjoy the silicon handles and it's compatible with my Kitchen Aid Induction Stove. The stove does not recognize the tiny little egg pan so that's useless. I use the fry pan the most and the non-stick surface is starting to yellow but still works (i do not use metal utensils or cleaning on it). Surface of pots are still same as new but bottoms of the pots and pans are starting to get oil sticky stains. I wish the largest pot was taller. Overall good product for price since there's not a lot of induction choices out there.
