I had some initial issues but it was well worth the efforts to get them resolved.
The floor jack was built tough, I just had difficulties getting the ram to drop which made removing it from under the vehicle once the wheels touched the ground and the suspension stabilized. I had to pry it down to get it to clear the carriage rail to slide it out.[UPDATE]So initially, I returned my jack because of the difficulty is getting the ram to lower. I spent the better half of two days trying to find a comparable replacement to no avail. I ended up giving the unit a second chance and ordered another one (mind you for a few dollars more which was fine). The new unit arrived and the first thing I did was attempted to test the piston. The unit raised and lowered smoothly. I was a little concerned that the bottle jack seemed a bit wobbly but I was willing to deal with it. during one of my sessions of testing the ram I heard a small tap noise and looked on my table. There was a screw on it.My initial thought at the moment in time was "What the?" I gave the jack a very thorough look over and discovered that there are two screws that secure the bottle jack to the frame. One fell off, the other was a little loose and originally this sort of made me somewhat disappointed. However, after looking at the screw and seeing how thick and meaty it looked I went ahead and reseated it and used my power tool to reseat it. It reseated perfectly and I could feel by how well it mated with the assembly that there was quality and confidence behind that connection.I think it could have been a case of someone missing this trying to get these out of the assembly line to meet the demand. Despite this, continuing my thorough inspection of the unit continued to raise my confidence levels. The areas under stress and of critical importance have been engineered in a manner that prevents you from accidentally tinkering around and possibly putting the jack in a compromised state which I appreciate. The lift handles are riveted on so I don't have fears of that popping off and having the unit fall on to my foot during transport as an example and the ram is bolted to the jack support so you don't need to worry about possibly having the two not be aligned properly before putting the points under load.It was these little touches that despite my initial complications of having to get it exchanged along with having two of the screws losoe on the bottom that I still changed my original rating of four stars and upped it to five. I do feel that having gotten past these little nuances was well worth it after taking the convenience, practicality and quality of the unit (as a whole) in the end and quite frankly, I haven't been able to find an alternative solution that is as well integrated as this one at a similar price point.Having had my issues gave me an opportunity to really give my jack a thorough look over and it was during this time that I truly got to understand and appreciate the engineering behind the product.

Awesome "little" jack...
Tired of hauling out the big floor jack AND jack stands? Me too! This just solved the problem. I use it to rotate the tires on my jeep. I rotate in my spare so all 5 tires. This jack is simple to use and with the locking jack stand I don't have to worry about a jack slowly leaking down. I purchased only one simply to "test it out" and because I'm only removing one tire at a time. I'm probably gonna order another one now so I can fully support an axle off the ground. I'll also be taking this when going off-road just to have a reliable and easy way to change a flat or get me out of a jam. The lift height is plenty for my jeep running a 2½" lift on 34" tires... The price is great and the time saved in not having to jack up a vehicle, place a jack stand, hopefully not exactly where you placed your floor jack and then moving the floor jack out of the way is a huge advantage! It's well built and has plenty of adjustability. The jack stand component works like any other. Remove the pin, adjust the height, install the pin and proceed to jack up the vehicle using the jack (typical bottle type jack) making sure the safety catch is engaging as you lift the vehicle. Once you achieve your desired height and making sure the safety latch you can release the pressure off the jack. It couldn't be any easier or faster...

Works as described, quality construction
Needed a better, taller jack for my Prospector XL pickup truck (lifted, big tires) because the original Ram factory jack was played out before it even got a tire off the ground, and it felt wobbly even then.Gave this a shot for three reasons: wide base to distribute load on soft soil, such as off road; auto-locking feature so it doesn’t crush me if I have to get underneath; and high load capacity.I’ve used it several times on cement for rotating tires and it works as described. It is a heavy jack - you won’t be picking this up with one hand - but the looks and feels do inspire confidence that it’s going to keep the truck off the ground and off of me. Plenty of stroke to raise my 40” tires, locks in place as it says it will, and it’s a whole lot smaller and cheaper than one of those offroad floor jacks, so it doesn’t break the budget or take up much space in the back. I trust it to keep me non-squishy when I have to put an appendage or my head under the truck. Only thing I think could be better is a longer handle. It can be tough to reach the jack when it’s under an axle. I might weld an extension to the factory handle if it bothers me enough.
