Spikes are a lil flimsy and not as heavy duty as I was thinking. Adjusting hardware and bar nuts have held up through some hard work outs. Original Stihl replacement parts are definitely superior and worth the price difference. Convenience puts this at a high mark as factory Stihl parts can be a challenge to get.

Put these dogs on my saws work just fine. Easy installation I do recommend using all parts that come in package if saw is used just for maintenance purposes while already workin on it. All parts were good quality.

I put it in my 661 fits perfectly, but still strips right out

I used these on a customers saw which were missing the felling spikes. Other reviews stated that the spikes were soft but the ones I received were hard as can be. So it’s most likely a quality control issue and I lucked out.

These felling dogs add a nice looking as well as functional upgrade over my factory felling dog on my Stihl 044. Simple to install and with an upgraded 25" bar the saw looks like something out of Mad Max.
