BestKeys 2007-2014 Chevrolet Tahoe Keyless Entry Remote

So happy!! This company is great. Saved me tons of money and time from using a dealership and so easy to program that I did not even have to ask my husband for help. They gave me step by step instructions that worked perfectly!! This was for my 2008 Chevy Tahoe. Thanks so much ! Thumbs up for the way in which the instructions were written, very helpful and easy to follow.

I purchased this remote as a gift for my son. He was so impressed that he could program it himself. He said that it works fine. I was waiting to see how his experience went before I purchased one for myself. He wanted a second remote just in case..... We only have a one also, so I believe that with his success, I will purchase one for myself, so that we will have two. The self programming was the selling point for me, and since it worked out, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought the keyless entry remote a few weeks ago. It works great! Saved me $230 from what the dealership quoted me. 4 stars rather than 5 because there were no instructions as I was led to believe... other than "take to an auto parts store and have them program". I just watched a video on YouTube to learn how to program it myself. It was way easy.

but my fears were unfounded. What REALLY surprised me was the A-1 service they give you to program it. NO instructions just call the 1-800 number and talk to a REAL LIVE AMERICAN who got me back on the road Lighting FAST!! I was completely shocked!!My key & remote fob replacement was going to cost me $165 at the dealership, and I said NO WAY JAY! So I was relieved to see this opportunity on Amazon. You are supposed to be in the vehicle and have BOTH sets of keys with you. The tech guided me through the process once he determined what brand, model and year of vehicle I had. For my particular truck, I was supposed to start the vehicle and then hit the "information" key on the dash until I got the right menu - then push the "check mark" button to reach the final programming screen on the dash display. Then all I had to do is push the lock & unlock button simultaneously until the dash beeped twice and VOILA! All fixed!!I was SOOooo happy I could'a given the technician a big old smooch if they had been in the cab with me! They asked me to go here and give a FIVE star review, and I am doing just that. I just couldn't believe it was gonna be so easy! I feel greatly relieved, as losing my other set of keys was a real disaster for me, and this took away a LOT of pain, believe me!! Like I said in my ignition key part of the review, I could have danced a jig after completing this dreaded task!!! I just can't say that enough!Oh! - my fears about having the rear-gate function button on the fob I bought were unfounded, it didn't matter that I had one extra function on the new remote fob, that my vehicle didn't come with.

Because I didn't get the diy instructions and it's really hard to try to program it yourself. Even after YouTube.

Worked great! Saved me so much money doing it myself than having to go to the dealership to get a replacement. Why didn't I buy this sooner?! My only advice is you may have to utilize your vehicle's instruction manual in order to assist with programming. For example, I had no idea where my vehicle information button was until I actually read my manual and saw a symbol telling me where it was. Perhaps if the company could add some symbols to their instructions this will help simplify the set up process. But overall I'm very satisfied!

I purchased this remote for my Tahoe, because my original remote was broken. The DIY instructions was perfect, I was able to program my remote in less than 30 seconds. I also saved money by not going to Chevy to have them overcharge me for a remote. I purchased another remote as a spare and now both remotes only work when I am about 2 feet from the door,and after pressing the unlock button multiple times.

When the dealership told me the price for each one of my remotes was $200.00 I thought it was a joke. I decided to use my car without the convenience a remote gives. Then I saw this one and again, I thought it was a joke, the price was really unbelievable, I just bought it to give a try knowing that probably I was wasting my money. Now I am amazed by its functionality. I highly recommend this product if you are like me and want to get the best at the best price.
