Discovery World Furniture2967-2967H-2975 Bedroom Furniture, Espresso

We had purchased a bed from this manufacturer in this color from a local furniture store. I tried to order the desk, hutch and chair from them but the were on backorder. How thankful I am! I went searching since the child starts real school this year and will need it. I found it here for almost 1/2 the price the store wanted. Yes it needs to be assembled but assembly was so easy my husband was surprised when he got home and I had it done already. Looks great and its sturdy material

Item arrived pretty fast. Box looked decent and not banged up. Directions were easy to follow and to put everything together. Only negative is there are some scuffs on the desk top. I will need to find some matching color (espresso) to touch up. Seems sturdy after built. Time will tell with a 10 yr old.

Poor quality you barely touch or move something and it scratches and indents. Also mine was missing the chair.

The product was overall easy to put together. Had some issues with the screws at the bottom as they did not have a preexisting hole so i had to make my own. Product also has several chips and scratches that I did not notice until it was put together. This was for my daughters room and she told me that she was ok with it, in additional it was too much trouble to take apart to ship back. Not to mention heavy. The color (white) is pretty and it appears to be nice and sturdy. Giving it 3 stars due to all the niches and scratches but overall appears to be a decent product. My daughter has been using it for about a week now and she loves it.

This part was broken (magnet on the drawer). If a replacement magnet can be sent we would give this 5 stars. The chair was a little tricky to put together but otherwise it was easy, it looks great with the matching bed we got and seems sturdy enough.Update: a replacement part was not available, but Amazon offered to replace the desk which sounded like too much trouble with having to disassemble and reassemble and all, so they offered us a discount and we will look for a part at a hardware store. The drawer still functions fairly well and we're happy with this solution so I changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars.

Nice looking desk that went together without complications. However, don’t try to move this piece by holding onto the hutch part as it isn’t structurally connected to the desk; it only has two small screws attaching the hutch to the desk. Overall I am happy with this desk and would recommend it.

I actually bought this with a bunk bed collection, but the desk and chair are very solid and easy to assemble. The two hutch drawers are small in size for small items. The only issue I had was the flip down face of the desk drawer would come down as I pull the drawer out. I just install a magnetic catch and that did the trick. It's a beautiful desk and worth the money. It was shipped to me without a scratch or missing parts. Very satisfied.

It is a nice desk but was missing a screw. Trouble trying to get one?
