This part is not for a Chevy Impala LFX/FWD GM 3.6L Engine. But the short boot detaches.
All good. The quality of this part is good. I bent it back and forth, it did not snap. The plastic is rich and moistened so it'll be good for a couple 10k miles. The bottom boot (small boot) of the tube detaches and fits the 2013 Chevy Impala FWD LFX 3.6L Engine, the top tube. Not the PCV on the rear of the engine, the one that goes from the exhaust manifold to the throttle body. Also, if this blew you most likely have a clogged exhaust system which is causes by too much fuel. It's a chain reaction.

Seems exactly like the original part.
I was having misfires, found that the original part was cracked, and the intake hose (boot) was ripped. This is subject to a lot of heat, so no surprise the original was extremely brittle. This part was exactly like the original, and went in without issue. Now the car is running perfectly.
