I have worried about leakage and damage from a battery in a 1996 Pentax model 6x7 that does not get used that often. I am in the habit of taking the battery out when I finish a roll of film, but then we get into the shelf life of the alkaline cell that I had been using. The Silver Oxide type not only promises greater shelf life, but it also can deliver more power at the correct voltage than the cheaper alkaline type. For the money and amount of use, this battery makes more sense.

When you need silver oxide this is the battery to get. I will not buy Alkaline in this battery size. Battery works just as expected. No complaints. Would buy again.

After much research I decided to stick with the silver oxide batteries for my camera and that was the best choose I could have made! Voltage, and size matched perfect for my vintage Cannon A1

I use these in two camera systems (Pentax 67's and Bronica GS-1's). In my applications, the alkaline versions are hit/miss and not reliable. These silver oxide cells seem to work consistently.

This PX-28 aka S28PX 6Volt battery replaced 4 - LR 44 button cells stacked on top of each other in a 3-LED flashlight. 4- 1.5V LR 44 stacked (in series) = 6.0 Volts. This battery is also 6.0 Volts, but the current delivery is higher. TL;DR, this made my 3 - Cree LED flashlight much, MUCH brighter, and according to reviews from many photography websites this battery should last quite a while as well. YMMV, but in MOST cases this battery should work in the same exact PHYSICAL SPACE, while meeting the exact same electrical requirements as 4 - stacked LR 44's, PLUS give you a brighter flashlight AND longer service as a benfit. In short, I was a bit worried about paying almost double than the next cheaper battery, but I'm very glad I did.

I had a meter battery finally fail in my vintage medium format camera. This battery works great and the meter is fully back in action again. I've been using it for quite a while and it seems to be worthy of an excellent review.

These Silver Oxide PX28 batteries are hard to find locally. My vintage camera requires these, not the lithium. Type. I was surprised to find them and I was delightfully suprised how quick they arrived. Appears to be a quality product at a decent price.
