Bark Collar No Bark Collar Rechargeable Anti bark Collar with Adjustable Sensitivity- No Harm Shock - Stop Barking for Small Medium Large Dogs

This was our second bark collar and this time we went with a shock alternative in addition to the vibration and noise. We thought that having a rechargeable collar made sense rather than replacing batteries like on the one we ordered prior. However, the rechargeable battery only lasted about 2.5-3.0 days at best, so during the weekend with lots of people coming over either to our condo or our neighbors, it wore down pretty quickly. I never saw the reaction of the shocking system, so I assume that the vibration was sufficient whereas the dog (Pomeranian) continued to barge with the beeping of the collar. Other than battery life, we didn't have too many complaints and used it for more than 6 months. However, today, we noticed that the light on the collar was on and our dog had vomited unexpectedly, and she was in a general down mood. Upon checking on her, I noticed the collar to be very warm to the touch and leaking what appeared to be battery acid. I immediately removed it and disposed of it. The area where the probes were was red, swollen, wet with a yellowish color (instead of a dry white coat with pink skin). We cleaned the affected area, but feel like we missed a close one there. I don't think a product that could potential do permanent harm to a dog should be on the market. Therefore, I gave this a DANGER/AVOID product review and suggest anyone to look for another product rather than this "CHANCH: Smart Dog Bark Control Collar."

German Shepherds have two coats, so to get good contact I cut a section of his hair on the center of his throat real short with scissors. Once that was done it took only one shock and he was quiet. After wearing it during the day for a week all I had to do was open the door and show him his colar in my hands and he would dip his head and be quiet the next few days. (Until his next reminder) Clever dog, great colar. Works on big dogs, just make sure the points can make contact.

After years of uncontrollable barking by my Dog, I capitulated to look for barking collar for dog to stop it. I thought I had to buy a bark collar when I saw this product. I was initially skeptical about its effectiveness but I thought that for this price it was worth trying it. The product arrived two days after the order, in excellent packaging conditions and it is nicer looking than the pictures portray. The guide was very good at walking me through the set up and testing process. As soon as it was fit, it immediately started to have effect on my dog's behavior. The uncontrollable, increasing and deafening barking and howling have finally stopped! I highly recommend it.

I have a small dog (16 lb) that barks like crazy when someone or something is close to the door. I purchased this collar because you have a choice of activating or not the shock feature. Well, I tried from lower sensitivity to the highest. Right now is in the highest (level 5) because the dog has to bark for a solid minute before the sensor gives him the warning. On lower levels, the sensitivity time is longer so that's not an option. The problem comes that I can't activate the shock feature at the current level (5 which is the highest) because the shock is too harsh at this point.

This totally saved me. I adopted a very large (Great Pyrenese) rescue dog with high anxiety. He barks at anything and everything outside. After a few times of the neighbors calling police over the barking, I had to do something. He actually loves the collar, and wags his tail when I tell him it's time to "put his necklace on". At most he gives one bark to let me know he's there, and it chimes, and he stops. Just what I needed to train him without hurting him or dealing with neighbors and police officers!!

We adopted an adult rescue that hasn't been socialized and goes berserk whenever he sees another dog. With this collar on he only grumbles and whines instead of loud barking. Training has been a slow process and this collar has been an invaluable tool while he learns.

I purchased this bark collar because of the positive reviews and because I needed something that reliably worked to quell my dog's barking. When I received it, I found that it was the SAME defective collar that I had purchased and complained about previously (The Q7 Pro.) I was upset but thought I'd give it a try. And sure enough...this collar, too, is defective. It will not let me set the collar to sound/vibrate. And I'll be DAMNED if I'm going to shock my dog because this pathetic manufacturer keeps sending me defective collars. If I could give this collar a -1 or -100, I would!!!I'm returning this collar asap.

Didn't work at all. I tried every sensitivity level and every time my dog barked it did absolutely nothing.
