Freeman Papaya and Coconut Color Retention Shampoo 13.50 oz

I have been buying Freeman Papaya shampoo and conditioner for years. They are great on color treated hair. My only concern is that they are harder and harder to find and the cost is becoming prohibitive. I Hope these products are not being discontinued.

the scent was somewhat disappointing - not fruity nor coconut-y. Just sort of a fake generic tropical scent. It's thick and gel like. Cleans well but dries out my hair. Didn't seem to be bad on my color, though, so that's good. But I'm not impressed overall. Freeman is just one step up from Suave so I'll skip this one in the future.

One of my fave products. Gard to find for some reason though. I hope they don't dicontinue!

Been buying this shampoo for about 8 years, love it, but now I am very disappointed because last year I paid $6.79 for 1 bottle, now you want $19.79 + $5 shipping, ARE YOU CRAZY !!!! I refuse to pay that amount, especially at a time like this. Guess it’s time to start looking for a new brand.. Gave it 1 star only bc it wouldn’t let me submit without a rating.

Very good product

This was, as a friend said "heavy and gross". It made me look like a total greaseball, so much that my boss commented on my hair being greasy! Embarrassing!!! I bought it because it was inexpensive, and supposedly good for color retention. Never again! I replaced it today with vastly superior suave products and that is just sad. Thumbs down!

I have tried a lot of shampoos, but this one really does work and is very reasonably priced. Just follow the directions and I find that you don't have to dye your hair as often. I really like the way it makes my hair feel, too. And, it smells good!!
