Do they last in water? Like a pool or something?

Absolutely, I garden without gloves and they don't loosen. We have a cattle ranch and I'm always working outdoors and they do great!! I usually have them last about 2 weeks.

Do these come with glue?

Yes but not all of the glues come ready to go...some may come dried up...keep your receipt and make the manufacturer send you a replacement

Can these be filed on the sides?

Yes, but if you're trying to file them to reduce the width, I wouldn't recommend it. You would likely send up causing the white tip part of the nail to lift at the sides. The nails can be filed on the sides and the top to smooth any rough edges. They are thick and take some getting used to over thinner nails. Hope this information helps.

There is a letter marked in the upper left corner of the front of the package. It indicates "S" for short which I have found is the shortest and quite comfortable for everyday
