CHI Enviro Smooth Treatment for Highlighted Porous and Fine Hair, 12 oz., 12 fl. oz.

I have a very stubborn curly hair. I have tried other keratin products before and none got me the results I got with this Chi Enviro Smoothing Treatment. I got the one for highlighted hair because I have highlights. If you follow the instructions to a “T” and if you have patience, you will get good results. The instruction are not on the bottle. You have to read the bottle where it tells you to get the instructions and it is online. There is a video and there is a website with the written instructions with pictures as well. Anyways. I first washed my hair with the Chi Enviro Shampoo, towel dryer my hair just about 50%, applied the product, left it for 15 minutes, then dried and then flat ironed it. It took me about 3 hours for the entire process, but granted,I have a lot of hair and tight curls. After 24 hours I washed my hair with the Chi Enviro Shampoo, blow dried and the. I just styled it with the flat iron. I honestly didn’t even have to use the flat iron, but I just used it to see how would my hair look like. It is soft, very smooth. Now after I washed it, I barely have to blow dry my hair because it broke my curls a little so it is more manageable. Follow the instructions to get good results. So much better than spending hundreds of bucks plus tips in the salon. It is worth it.

It’s a fake product that I gave it a try 4 times and it never worked. It’s just like fake shampoo and not a treatment at all. daughter’s hair and my hair become very dry as a fake shampoo not a treatment. I wish I can get a refund of this trashy product!!

As a professional cosmetologist I never buy salon products from anywhere other than professional stores. This product, however, had been discontinued by CHI. I used to do this treatment on my hair before it was discontinued and purchased it at a cosmetologist only store. It is a wonderful, formaldehyde-free solution to my frizzy and irregular curl patterned hair. I’ll tell you this is the real deal. I will admit that I have no idea if the actual chemical makeup is the same but it produced the same results, smells the same and was 100% sealed when I received it.

I used this product to prevent my hair from frizzing due to the high humidity in Georgia. Unfortunately, it isn't working the way that I had hoped. However, I don't think that it is the product. It may be the application.
