How to you seperate the floating top to clean? Does it pull apart?

Yes it is made in three sections. There is a plastic rim that unclips allowing the floating top to be removed. Very easy. Have found this to be a very good product and virtually eliminates any splashing/spillages.

Can a baby tip this over and water go all over?

Yes. It is moveable. If tilted more than about 20 degrees the water will start to go over lip of bowl. The upsky bowl is great for stopping splashes when dog drinking and can even be used in car, but it’s not entirely spill safe.

Would the water come out if the bowl is turned upside down?

Yes you get some water coming out if turned upside down. I’ve got a black retriever and she can’t tip the bowl over it’s a great bowl and does everything it says it does. and from getting one for my dog she won’t drink out of her normal bowl anymore and I’ve ordered another one so she will have one upstairs and downstairs and I highly recommend it

Would this be easy for my 20yr old blind cat. He finds it difficult to see his dish and steps into it knocking it over. Is it easy to lap for a cat.

It’s a nice size but builds up a brown residue over night and water gets trapped in the float the whole thong needs to be took apart and cleaned or they will be drinking dirty water
