Very good product
Used this product to make a case for my wood carving kit. It was very easy to cut however it was quite difficult to separate the layers. I had to re do one side as the sheet had a large hard bubble in it. Overall very pleased.

Not so easy peel!!
Ordered this to pack camera gear, when it turned up i realized I'd ordered way to big a sheet that's not a bad thing I've used this foam to pack loads of stuff now!! With a Stanley knive the foam cuts easy, and I'm sure if I was was capable with the laser it would be even easier. The easy peel stumped me, i ended up using the Stanley knive to make the foam thinner. Overall perfect foam for lining and packing your gear cases.

Excellent product
Used to form individual pockets for tools and bits in a larger storage box, keeping them separated and secure. Easily cut to fit, if a little too cellular to be completely neat. Helping to keep sharpened edges true for longer. Would buy again if needed.

Use a sharp scalpel and have a few blades to hand
Brilliant foam to use, the layers make it super easy to quickly tear out and achieve a flat surface. Really easy to cut and with it being some what firm it doesn't fall apart. My only advice is to ensure you have a handful of sharp scalpel blades to hand as you would be surprised at how fast they go blunt.

Great job.
Used this to organise my draws on my roll cab box. Makes it extremely easy to know if something is missing as you can see the gap. Also keeps everything organised and laid out nicely so you can see everything with ease.

Expensive
After a lot of consideration, reading reviews and watching foam insert tutorials/advice on You Tube - I decided to buy 3 sheets of the product. The Sealey branded items are more suited to Sealey tool boxes as the sheets are 550mm wide not 500mm as the similar Shadow Foam product. Firstly, the sheets were not cut at 90 degrees across their thickness (or had become distorted in storage) and secondly, it appeared that the sheets had been strapped together in their boxes, either in storage or in transit and were badly creased along some edges. So before I cut any sheets to size, I had to trim off some squashed edges and straighten other edges so they fitted the drawer edge without gaping. This lost me a fair amount of what is very very expensive material. I could not afford to trim some of the sheets, otherwise I would have not have got what I needed out of it. So I had to live with a bit of creasing. Some of the other reviewers have pointed out the strange 'bin bag' like finish to the top. It is strange, but I think this is intended to make the cut edge a bit more forgiving if your cuts are not quite accurate. The crinkled finish 'springs' into the item a bit. My major disappointment with this product is that it does not tear off in clean layers, and also there are too few layers to create the shape you need. If you take your time and set out your layout with tape or a pen, then you can get good results. The process is more frustrating than enjoyable and satisfying, as those tutorial videos lead you to believe! With additional work, corrective surgery and patience you can get good results. You can also lose a lot of material (money) trimming to correct defects, or by making an error in measurements or cutting an outline wrong. Incredibly expensive for what it is - its essentially the same material that is used for packing electronic items or some TVs. If I had bought one sheet to try it, I would not have bough any more. Overall, it is a good solution to store and keep track of tools, but this material is not on your side and should really be a fraction of the price in my opinion.

Dimensions incorrectes !

Cutting the Foam
This is my second attempt (picture with pliers) at finding foam for tool trays, and it had gone much better than the first, much more dense, foam i had purchased perviously (picture with micrometers and calipers). It was far easier to cut the outline of the tools, only tools i needed to make the tray in the photo above were a ruler and scapel. With the dense foam, it was extremely dificult cutting the depth of the foam. This was not the case with the Sealey foam. To control depth, you need only control the depth of the scapel then peal up the layer evenly by making a sort of pinching motion with your thumb and fingers. Its a bit of a hand workout, but it looks nice.
