I add this to a bucket of water with a couple drops of dawn soap. I gently wash the scalp/ mesh part and then just dunk the wig in and out a couple of times gently rubbing any pieces that need it and then rinse. It washes my wigs well. It keeps them soft, smelling fresh, and easy to comb through with my fingers. I reshape the wig and dry them on a wig stand. And there is a lot of product. It will likely last me a long time.

This shampoo definitely saved one of my old wigs. It was very tangled and dull after sitting in a closet for YEARS, but after washing and letting it air dry (along with using this same brand's leave in spray) it looks soft, shiny and brand new!! The scent of the shampoo is also a really nice plus :)

I liked that it did a good job in cleaning my wig. The fragrance was mild and pleasant. I was looking for a product that does not test on animals, and this doesn't. I am very pleased with the product. My only concern is that it doesn't say how much cleanser to put in the water. I squirted the bottle a few times, guess it was enough.

For many years I did not think that products made specifically for synthetic hair would be much different than gentle shampoos, detanglers etc made for real hair. I WAS SO WRONG! Products like this shampoo and the wig spray they also sell extend the life and good looks of synthetic hair pieces in a way I did not think possible. My only complaint is how fast this stuff disappears. It's pretty thin shampoo and synthetic hair requires frequent washing. But 20 bucks for this product and it's spray go a long way to making these cheap hair pieces look much nicer than they would otherwise. It's worth the price x 2. That said, it doesn't matter what you use on your wig if you don't follow the cardinal rule of the Cheap Wig: KEEP YOUR FINGERS OUT OF IT! Don't comb it! (pick it if you must), don't color it, don't use heat on it KEEP IT CLEAN. Find a piece that works for you, if try on a hairpiece and it takes more than a minimal amount of time & effort to make it look natural, try another. This shampoo and spray keep a well treated wig looking healthy and natural longer. It's a quality product made for quality products. It's not designed to bring back the dead!

Didn’t get the results I expected. I read reviews and was very excited to try this out. It has a light grape scent, it is lightweight and it seems to only be one product that you need. However, it is very watery no lather whatsoever. The instructions are vague on the amount to use. I always go light and then add if necessary. The first time I used this I tried it on two synthetic units. It ruined one, to the point I had to throw it away. It made it very rough and stringy. The second unit came out much better, however it left it staticky and the results were short lived. While it cleaned one well and ruined the other. I had to take some stars off. The overall product isn’t bad, it just didn’t work the way I expected. The consistency of the product can cause you to use more product than necessary. Therefore the value for the size isn’t there for me.

Works perfect for washing my synthetic hair topper. It is not greasy and it is very easy to you. The follow is airtight and does not leak.
