Perfect replacement
This new espag lock-set replaced an old and very insubstantial original that had failed (the cog that the handle turns had disintegrated). I had to modify the casement to fit the new one as the original was so thin, the locking bar was within the body of the lock whereas the replacement was much beefier (thank goodness) and required that I remove some plastic from the window to make it fit. This was an easy task and the new lock works perfectly.

unfortunately I had to improvise, because I didn't buy the correct item, but it worked.

Great replacement!
Very easy to install. Fitted straight into the slot. No screws supplied but at this price not bothered. It fitted my old system with a bit of adjustment for the catches. All done and working in 5 mins.

Good
Easy to fit using old fixtures and fittings and handle. Seems to work fine.

I needed to replace a 750mm bar and this worked perfrctly!
Fits perfectly fine, the original in the window was actually 750mm but this works perfectly fine. It didnt matter to much about the 50mm difference of the bar, all that really mattered was the mechanism dimenstions mostly which were perfectly fine!

Flimsy, poor packaging
The item arrived very late and the packaging had been damaged & badly repaired, I guess it got stuck in a sorting machine somewhere. I think the vendor bears some responsibility - its a long strip of fairly thin metal, prone to being bent. It was put loose into a thin carboard tube, no real surprise it got damaged in the post.I submitted a replacement request but they needed me to return at my own expense & I really needed to get the window fixed. I did manage to straighten it enough to install, its very stiff but at least I can close my window now.So in summary - item itself is OK, although much lower quality than the one it replaced. Packaging is inadequate.
