I add this to a very powerfully flavored smoothie with 2 cups of wild blueberries and 2 ripe bananas, and it doesn't completely ruin it. There is no debate, one tablespoon of dulse flakes are so powerful of an awful flavor that they can make a powerfully intense flavored 10-cup smoothie become gut-wrenching rancid seafood tasting. Like biting into a raw dead fish that has been floating in the sea for 2 weeks. This stuff is not quite THAT bad. But, Atlantic Dulse Flakes are part of a cleanse that I am doing, and they are supposed to be very nutritional, so I am trying my best to tolerate them.

Do you have hypothyroidism? I do and my body needs iodine and selenium to help my thyroid work better. This stuff has A LOT of both and when I eat this stuff I have mental clarity again! I love how this works naturally with my body to give it the nutrition it needs to preform well! It has a fishy taste and I eat a serving straight from the package. Not the tastiest taste in the world but it allows me to think clearly so I will be buying this stuff for a long time!!

Great alternative to using table salt - much healthier for you. Seaweed flavor is very mild and I don’t mind it at all. I’ve tried a few different brands of dulse and so far I like this one for being a nice dark brown/purple color and the flakes don’t stick together like they have in some other brands I’ve tried.Mix it in with stir fry and you won’t even taste the seaweed but you will still get the salty flavor.

I've been using these dulse flakes in my smoothie for the past month. The flavor isn't too fishy. The packing is good, the resealable seal seals well. I am a little disappointed that the company raised the price from $13.99 to $19.01, so I will be looking at other options.

Great product. It definitely tastes salty, though there is little sodium according to the package. I’m using it as a source of iodine, since I don’t use salt. It does have the flavor of the sea—slightly fishy. I think it’s an acquired taste. I mix it in my food so I don’t taste it much. Overall, it seems to be a high quality product.

As of writing, this is the most reliable listing to get Dulse delivered through Amazon with Prime Shipping.Unfortunately this product, as noted by other reviewers, is a bit dry—it means that it is not chewy, like other providers (such as Maine Coast Sea Vegetables), and cannot be readily consumed as a snack.I tried to eat it as a snack, and it was okay in a pinch, but would not reorder.

Of course, the fact that it IS seaweed makes that a given. Food Network show claimed it tastes like bacon. The seller did not make that claim so it's not their fault we were disappointed but the Food Network should be ashamed.

I think it is unprocessed sea weed, just out of the ocean and dried.I ordered 2 moreits perfect in miso soup, but sometime I just chew on it straight out of the bagI love salty things, and I love the taste of the ocean
