Great can
Perfect size can for my weed eater fuel. Attached funnel makes it easier to fuel. Should last a long time.

Well designed and built
I was a bit reluctant to spend the money for this gas can, but am glad I did. The only issue was the funnel. It's not easy to put on or take off. I used a file and a little WD 40 so that it slips off and on more easily. Also, I had to watch a video to see how to fill the can, since the spring loaded cap doesn't open very far. To fill, I lift the funnel off, stick it into the can and use the funnel to fill the can. Perhaps a one page instruction sheet would have helped. It's nice to have high quality tools to work with. Spend the money and enjoy it.

Lid was stuck, funnel is extremely hard to place and remove.
On arrival, I could not get the lid to open. It took about 15 minutes to get it unstuck. It was almost as if it was glued down. This has to be the worst design for a gas can I've ever seen. It is very difficult to get the lid open wide enough where a gas nozzle would fit. You almost need two hands to hold it open that far. I'm not looking forward to trying to fill the thing. The same problem makes it extremely difficult to place or remove the funnel. When the funnel is on, there is not enough clearance to fill the can. I think it would be dangerous to put the funnel in place when the can is full of gas since you would be likely to spill gas all over yourself. To top it all off, Amazon won't allow the return since it could potentially have had gas in it, even though I haven't put any in the can, and will probably throw it out. What a rip off.

Sturdy product
The only downside is opening the lid is difficult. Holding gas pump handle and putting it into the can, it’s challenging. Very sturdy product with spout. That’s a plus!! We and had to replace our other can, finally sprung a leak after many years -passed down from parents . The other downside is the CoST is high, but all the regulation cans are these days. Hopefully this can will last a long while.

Safety First! Don't buy plastic gas cans.
Plastic gas cans can explode! They do not have a flame arrester in the nozzle. There are videos on Youtube that show this. For the sake of yourself and your family, use a steel can with a flame arrester, like this one. Yes, they are expensive, but they are safer and will last longer. I like this little 1-gallon can for my string trimmer and I have a larger one for my mower. Eagle makes good products. Pouring the gas is a little awkward due to the need to pull back the handle and pour at the same time, but it's worth a little inconvenience in order to be safe.
