Does airgas accept these? are they ok to use with argon/c02 mix? do they have d.o.t. stamped on them somewhere?

Airgas locally would not fill ours. We had to find an alternative supplier. I don't know if it is rated for welding gas use.

Is this DOT certified?

Yes. but if your intention is to go to a gas exchange facility then save your money and buy one from them. I was disappointed for not knowing before hand that when I bring mine to be filled with dry nitrogen that my nice new bottle will taken in exchange for a filled crappy bottle of theirs.

Can this be used for MIG welding?

Yes. I use it for tig welding that is 100% argon. And exchange it at Norco when it is empty.
