Awesome - and last ages!
I have been using these for months now, and really like them. They make a good lather, provided you use warm water and give them a robust "stir" with a proper shaving brush. The scents are delightful, without being overwhelming. I have fairly sensitive skin, and these have also been great for that. They seem to last for ever too, as I brought these months ago and have only just started the third of the four soap bars...and that's with shaving almost every day. Great value. I just wish they made a shaving dish to go with them too!

Fine soap and an even finer company!
I had minor issues initially with these shaving soaps, but I have to tell you that I have never seen such attentive customer service on any product on Amazon that compares at all to the care this company takes about its product. I have come around to respecting the product line for this as well as its shaving qualities. Four soaps came in the pack. I liked the scent of three and I am gifting the fourth one to someone who is just getting into wet shaving with a double edge safety razor. I use a Merkur R89 on most days, which has replaced my Edwin Jagger DE as go to razor and when I have the luxury of some extra time, I alternate between a Feather Artist Club and three straight edge razors, a Thiers Issard Spanish Point, a Dovo Bismark, and a Ralf Aust custom designed razor. I have been using fine shaving instruments for about 12 years now.On to the soap ... they all foam up to a good consistency which in every case with the above hardware, provides good glide, cushion and protection. I have yet to nick myself using this soap. There are eight different flavors so you are bound to find something to your liking. The scents are nice and do not linger, so if you want something that will not conflict with colognes, aftershaves and even deodorants, these are a good choice. At first the pucks seemed to go quickly but I realized I was just applying too much soap. A little bit of these pucks goes a long way and I was throwing away a lot of good foam at the beginning, or rather I used the foam to exfoliate my entire face with the leftovers. Now, I just use less. The last item I'd like to comment on is the price. Shaving soaps run the gamut in pricing and you can burn funds quickly purchasing some of them. Viking, however, is priced very reasonably, so that there is little excuse for not having these as part of your regular shaving arsenal. If you like variety in a fine reasonable priced product, these are definitely a way to go.Ps. Thank you to Anne at Viking Customer Care for her impressive follow-up.

A close shave...
I really like these soaps. They lather up well with a shave brush and smell really good. I shave almost every other day, seeing that I have a bald head, so the four bars last me quite a well. I think the last time I purchssed these was at least a year ago. One bar will last me at least 3 months. A great bargin!

Never going back to shaving cream.
I've been using a safety razor for nearly two years now. It has helped with razor burn (modern razors give me bad razor burn) but I still get a little burn and zits a few days later. I decided to give soap pucks a try, and boy did I enjoy using them!First of all, they smell fantastic. They smell natural, invigorating, soothing, and masculine all at once. I tried the Bay Rum first and so far it is my favorite; I keep stealing whiffs even after I'm done shaving, it just smells so good! All of the scents smell great in fact, and just the right amount of strength. They lather great too; one of these pucks fits in a 3" bowl and all I have to do is get my brush a little wet, swirl on top of the puck, and I get plenty of lather for my needs. Plus, I think this method is a lot more efficient than using thick shaving creams like Cremo; I can see myself going through all four pucks in a year or more, which adds up to four bottles of Cremo; a fantastic tradeoff in my book. The only thing that the shaving cream has against this shave soap, is that I noticed the shave was a bit more rough with the soap pucks than with the gel. Makes sense though. However, the solid soap is actually a lot less messy than the cream base, I was surprised to find that out after my first use.Viking Revolution Shaving Soap will be my go-to soap for now on. It literally has made shaving enjoyable for me again.

Excellent Quality Shaving Soaps with Outstanding Value
I purchased the assortment pack that includes Bergamot, Sweet Tobacco, Majestic Oud, and Spiced Vanilla scents, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the entire collection.Packaging & Presentation: The soaps arrive in attractive packaging that feels premium and well thought out. The presentation definitely gives these products a quality feel right from the start.Scent Variety: All four scents in the assortment are exceptional. Each has its own distinct, pleasant aroma that's sophisticated without being overwhelming. The variety gives you options depending on your mood or the occasion - from the fresh Bergamot to the rich Sweet Tobacco and exotic Majestic Oud, with the warm Spiced Vanilla rounding out the collection beautifully.Performance: These soaps produce exactly what you want from a quality shaving soap: a rich, thick, creamy foam that builds easily on your beard. The lather provides excellent coverage and cushioning, which translates to a very smooth, comfortable shave. The foam consistency is perfect - not too thin or too thick.Shaving Experience: The actual shave quality is impressive. The soap provides good lubrication and protection, resulting in a clean, comfortable shave without irritation. My razor glides smoothly, and I get excellent results every time.Value: Considering the price point, this is an outstanding value. You're getting premium shaving soap performance at a very reasonable cost. The quality easily rivals much more expensive alternatives.Overall: Highly recommend this shaving soap collection. Whether you're new to traditional wet shaving or looking for a quality soap that won't break the bank, this assortment delivers excellent performance, great scents, and tremendous value.

Good scent, lathers up well, good price
These smell really nice and lather up pretty well. They're not that big so they will probably only last maybe 4 weeks each, but you get 4 in a package, so for 10 bucks it's a pretty good deal. I would definitely recommend them. I hope the company comes out with even more scents in the future. But if not, these scents are still all winners in my opinion.

Meh. Okay in a pinch, but your bar soap can do the same.
Will get the job done at a low price, but that's about it.I must have been spoiled by Barrister and Mann as this soap does not stack up in comparison.Lather: looks good, but is thin and does not offer much lubrication. This is great if your focus is the ease of rinsing your razor and brush, but not so great at creating a smooth shaving experience.Sent: smells good for a brief moment and then fades rather quickly. My spouse can still catch a whiff of Barrister and Mann's scents late into the morning.Shave: meh. When you work up a lot of lather and you feel resistance and hear a squeak on your first pass, you know that you've struck out.For comparison I lathered a brush up with Kirkland brand shea butter bar soap and had similar results in the thickness of the lathered, but a better, more comfortable shave with better lubrication.

Smells strong threw the package
For my sons birthday. But even in the package you can smell all the scents clearly. They smell nice together. But when you sniff each corner you know which one your smelling.

Ok but not great.
Nothing special. Scents are ok. But I think I can use the wilkinson sword shaving soap just as well after these run out. Not good enough to purchase again but not gonna throw them out. Get them to lather well enough.
