Below is an old review from the very first time I purchased these Headphones I’ve bought several of these and you can’t ask for a better sound quality the issues I’ve been experiencing with these they have a tendency of one of the folding arms to break off these last 3 sets I purchased are the updated version of the one I first purchased these have a completely different issue they still sound great you can watch movies listen to music but when you make a call the Bluetooth will disconnect from the call the call is still active and the Bluetooth will reconnect almost immediately when it does disconnect, which is quite often but the problem is it won’t reconnect back to the call even though it shows it’s connected to the call while on the phone had to hit the Bluetooth on the call screen to turn it off like you’re going to use just the phone and then turn it back on and it will work again for anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes is very annoying. That’s what started out now it’ll connect to Bluetooth for movies and music, but will not connect to the call period now it’s just blank noise this happened outside of the 30 day return window but they have a 1 year warranty on them hopefully they will do the right thing and replace these I don’t want to use a different brand I love these headsets. I don’t care if they do break off on one of the arms. I kind of wish I didn’t make them where they folded. I believe it would be a lot better. In my opinion. I’m always wearing them anyways the only time I take them off is when I’m charging them, anyone knows that owns these the battery last very long time I bought three sets that way I can use one while one is charging the other one was for back up. So hopefully they take care of this issue now. I’ll definitely report back on the progress. They replaced items in the past I don’t see a reason that they would do anything differently now and not replace these.. They are a good reliable company in my opinion. This is the first time I have ever purchased this product and I have only used it a few days but I wanted to do a review early on and hopefully within a year do a follow up review so here we go. It's a little on the bulky side but I can get used to that the two main things for me is the sound quality and and battery life, this headset far exceeds my expectations in both battery life and sound quality I wish they had an app to go a long with this product so you could adjust the bass and treble but even though they don't have this app this headset sounds great, the construction of the headset seems to be pretty durable when you pull the earbuds out from the headset it has a decent amount tension hopefully this doesn't cause any problems down the road when pulling the earbuds out it's very noticeable it has a loud ratcheting click sound everyone around you will know your doing something and may ask what is that but anyway I would buy these again and I would also recommend it to friends and family. I bought this headset July 29, 2020 and thought I submitted a review not long after I received them but I guess I didn't but never the less even though the headset is a little on the bulky side the sound quality is very good when watching videos and listening to music it's a little hard to hear during a call the person can hear you fine but giving the bass this headset has it's hard to hear them but that's the only issue I have with them other than that they sound very good and the battery life on this headset is probably more superior than most if not all headsets that I've had or have and I have a few and I'm constantly using mine watching videos on Prime as well as some YouTube videos.

I've had these for 2 days, so the only outstanding question at this point is their durability and I'll update this review in a few months to tell you how they're holding up and keep updating until they break. Pros: These headphones appear to be very high quality and very well built. You'll immediately notice how sturdy they are and feel the quality. Included is a pretty nice case for holding them. They are light and don't burden your neck. The sound quality is really good. Everything sounds full bodied and rich. The volume can go higher than any previous headphones I've owned. Battery life seems to be incredible. After a full charge I used them for over 12 hours while working and then at home after work and I still have 90% of my battery life left. It almost seems too good to be true. I'm not going to charge them again until they flat out die and will update you. As far as the microphone goes, the people I've spoken with have had no issue hearing and understanding what I'm saying. Cons: The volume buttons and call/play button are very similar and only slightly different in size so it's easy to mix them up and press the wrong one. When I pull the earbuds out the cranking sound it makes is like I'm raising the drawbridge for a castle. It's unusually loud. It's loud enough that doing it in a library would be embarrassing. The combination of a snug fit and sturdiness makes me a little uncomfortable when removing them because I have to spread them a bit to remove them and the lack of flexibility worries me about breaking them. Those are the cons, and I give this headset a 5 star rating because none of them are meaningful enough to me to affect me much. They may be more meaningful to you. I should mention that I had to buy these because the last set of headphones I bought on here, a pair of Pandawill retractable headphones, were awful so these are fantastic by comparison. Those headphones lasted a month before the microphone began intermittently not working at all. Less than a week after that the right earbud stopped working. The sound was awful. Those were the second pair of Pandawill headphones I'd bought, the first had ok sound quality and seemed to be holding up okay but my son accidentally broke them. I mention this because when I went to repurchase that first set they were no longer available to purchase under that listing so I had to do a search and buy them under a different listing. After my terrible experience with this last pair I pulled up the order to leave a negative review and again these were unavailable to purchase, leading me to believe Pandawill leaves their listings up for 2-3 months until negative reviews begin pouring in from all the headsets breaking then they close the listing and create a new listing. So if you decide against these BearTwo headphones, whatever you do don't buy Pandawill headphones. Overall I highly recommend this headset, so far it's just fantastic. If they have a long life without falling apart after a month (or 6) they will be almost perfect in my book.

After just over a year of use from my last headset, I pulled on the earbuds and one arm cracked. I didn't think much of it and planned to glue it back together when I got home from work. Plugged it in as I settled in from a long day at work.... and.... NOTHING. 😳 I fiddled with it and quickly realized it was not turning on. Seems the crack affected the charging system. 😕 Time to get a new headset. I looked at the same one because it wasn't a bad headset, was certainly rather great for a road cyclist as it had a feature where it let in some ambient noise for one to hear an approaching car... or a yelling spouse... Lol 🤣 Bargain hunther that I am, I almost NEVER buy the most expensive anything, that's for moneybags that like to show off. I don't believe any but the most discerning ear can tell the difference between a 150 headset and this one. I know I can't. I've had 90 dollar Sennheiser earbuds and they were solid, but the range wasn't to my liking, it played heavily in the bass, great if Rap music is your thing, but I'm a Gen X New Wave guy that did listens to everything from the 60s on up. I took a chance on these BearTwo 990s and as soon as I plugged them in I was satisfied. Angels and Airwaves play a wide range of sonic songs and these units have just the right amout of bass but great mid-range and the right amount of treble, they don't hurt your ear or sound tinny. The music sounds as if I'm in a hall somewhere and the music app I use (Muzio Player) really make these BearTwo 990s sing. I wasn't keen on the look at first because the previous ones were every skin and light for what they look like but that was an illusion. Though these look bigger and thicker they are LIGHTER than the other ones. Neat engineering tricks with materials. The other device has a pull/pull operation, these you pull then hit a button on the front to retract them. EZ PeeZee. The mechanism didn't seem to have that solid a feeling completed to the other device, but thinking in it, because of the pull pull design I guess the spring had to be stronger. It's prolly a non issue but I'm anal and notice EVERYTHING. 😉 After all, I was a product reviewer for dirt bike magazines where I HAD to notice shall details in comfort and performance of the products. I gave the working of the BearTwo BT headset a solid 5. It works very well. I'm more than satisfied, I'm HAPPY 🤗👍🏽 I gave the overall a 4 because I don't know it yet, have no idea on promised battery life or quality she longevity. I'll do a follow-up update in a few months. Oh yeah, excelling point, the company makes it very easy to register the product on their website via bar code scan and they offer A FREE 2 year warranty to fix or exchange the unit. Now THAT'S belief in it's product. 💪🏻💪🏼💪🏾💪🏽💪🏾 ***UPDATE*** These earphones are A SOLID 5. The battery life is RIDICULOUS. I change this thing maybe one every 4 days. It's not continuous use but in a normal work day. In a previous job when I listed not if the day I could get 2 days use before needing to charge it. A side not. The voice you hear on turning on and pairing the unit is....an ASIAN woman. I'm so used to hearing an American or British voice on devices like this it took me a full 2 weeks before I stopped being annoyed. While the lady who did the recurring is trying her best, IT'S IMMEDIATELY NOTICABLE that English is NOT her first language... Lol Think woman in the movie Full Metal Jacket, "Me love you long time..." Yeah, she kinda sounds like that. NO DISRESPECT AT ALL, is just unusual not to hear an American. I gotta say these are the BEST, most did BT headsets I have ever owned. Way 2 Go, BearTwo on the 992. I plan on writing the city itself in so pleased with unit. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I've used these headphones for over 2 years now, I'm on my second pair only because I fell asleep and rolled over on them and broke them, totally my own fault, these are hands down the best BT headphones for the money!!! The sound quality is top notch and doesn't sound cheap at all, has very good range with clear highs and low lows, call quality is decent I can always hear the caller very well but callers usually say they can hear alot of the background noise going on around me especially when I'm driving or at work. As far as fit, I usually struggle with most earbuds falling out, but these fit extremely well especially with the multiple sizes of rubber tips, and the soft tips seal the ear very well blocking alot of the ambient noise. The battery life is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! It says 18 hours but both sets I've owned have always given me over 30 hours at just a click or two short of max volume, no exaggerating, I can use them for 3 10-hour shifts plus the 30 min drives home and several hours on the 4th day before I get the low battery warning, but usually I charge them every other night. Conviently I can check the battery level on the BT settings page on my phone if I'm unsure(seems like it's always at 90% or 70%). They feel well built and have a good weight to them but fit very comfortably around the neck and feel secure, I've never had an issue with them coming off though occasionally they do get turned a little crooked especially when only using one ear bud. the wires are more than adequate in length, I never feel any resistance when turning my head and usually don't have to fully extend them either. They do click loudly while being pulled out but if hold the retract button while pulling it is silent, when finished a quick press of the button retracts the buds very quickly and securely which is one of my favorite features. Last but not least connectivity is great after the first connection and they are remembered in my phone all I have to do it click them on and they connect and beggin playing within 5 seconds and the distance can't be matched I can easily move around out to a hundred foot radius with no issues after that they start to distort until about 130 feet and they'll disconnect but the second I'm back in range they reconnect and a single click of the play/call button and I'm back to listening. Without a doubt worth the money!!!!

These earphones were purchased primarily for the retractable earbuds as well as the neckband. I have had no luck with over ear and in ear bids and needed the retractable bit so they didn't get in the way at work. For those features these earphones are perfect. I had no problems setting up and connecting and the sound quality is great. They are also decently noise canceling as well. My biggest problem with these is the range. The connection goes once about 50ft away and if there is any disruption between the phone and the earphones the connection goes a bit wonky. And I'm talking about putting my phone in my pocket or a closed door between me and the phone. I might have been spoiled by my old ones where I could have a clear connection anywhere on my property to the point I have driven away and left my phone behind a few times but I have to say it's annoying not being able to put my phone in my pocket and still listen to my audio books without issue. Structurally these have held up well and have survived a few minor drops with no discernable damage. I think if I were sitting at a desk all day these would be perfect for me but as someone who has to move around a lot they aren't working out as well for me as I would have liked.

These are an excellent set of headphones. I've had fantastic luck with them. They've got very good volume. They connect to my phone in nothing flat. The battery life is excellent and big bonus. I can look on my iPhone when I have a book Playing, tap the button or symbol on the top right hand side next to the antenna and the three dots. It will tell you which device your phone is Bluetoothed into and what the battery level is on that device. The controls are very easy to use. Your on and off button on the top right side right behind the switch to bring in that right earbud. On the right hand side actually has the stop start button the next one is your volume down and backspace on the book that you are listening to. The next one is your volume up and forward space on your book. I've had these very wet from sweating and rain, I had no problem at all. Another feature that it has when you retract the earbuds and they come up against the housing. They've got a soft spongy material there so it doesn't hit hard when retracting the earpieces, they also have heavier chords connected to the earbuds. Most headsets don't connect to my computer, thease connect to my computer and I believe it will connect to my television too. I cannot say enough about this headset. I love them so much. I bought another set still sitting in the box so should something happen to these I've got Insurance, hopefully these last a long time but maybe I should get a third set because I might never see them again.

I have been buying "neck jaw" style headphones for a while now, mainly using the MPOW jaws headphones. I loved those, but they kept breaking on me and forcing me to replace them every 6 months. This time I thought: "Let's find something different!" and boy do I regret it. The Cons: Too small for me - They are tight on my neck and do not come off easily because of how stiff they are. Too bulky - They are thick and unwieldy, uncomfortable to wear. The voice is too loud - The "Power On", and"Connecting" voice is really loud and annoying, talks WAY too much. The Audio Cuts out the first little bit of audio (especially in audiobooks) - I do not know why, but for some reason, it will get quiet at the beginning of sentences on my audiobooks. like the sentence will be " The man walked down to the store." and you will hear " man walked down to the store." taking out the first syllable a majority of the time The buttons are unintuitive and do not work properly- This is the real kicker. double-clicking the call button calls the last person, and it is TOO easy to do, especially since the pause button barely works half the time. The other button is bound to too many things. The "+" button I think is supposed to be a long press volume up and short press skip. how does this make sense? to turn it down you are supposed to Hold it down then release it several times? AND ANY OF THOSE TIMES IT COULD ACCIDENTALLY SKIP?!? Then it gets worst when you get to the "+" button which is bound to 3 things, and one of them is the double-tap "voice dial" where it pulls up Siri to the such. How I know this is because while trying to turn my headphones down by trying to do the horrible "long-press several time" the voice will loudly proclaim "VOICE DIAL" when you fail and you have to go to the phone to fix it. the WORST PART, is that it will queue up multiple times if you are too fast. so the voice will deafen you with 5 or 6 "VOICE DIAL"s. Also, the charge light is too faint so you have to be looking RIGHT down into it to see if it is charging in daylight. The only good thing about it is the buttons that pull the wires back into the headphones: those are cool I guess. I am returning these and never buying them again. Please do not make my mistake.

I’m so glad these are still being made, I love the neckband style with retractable ear buds and my original set served me well for a couple of years until tragically I stepped on them and broke them. Very happy to get the replacement and hope these last just as long!

Sound quality, call quality

Used it twice only since I bought it two months ago and now the right ear speaker does not work. Noticed damage on the cable from the aggressive retract mechanism. The cable is very skinny and fragile for this aggressive retract mechanism. Very poor quality, will try to return it back and get a refund as it was not cheap.

I really like the sound but they're a bit bulky.
