The best way to get a tire off, and on is without any tools, to prevent pinching the tube, BUT
I've used a Quick Stick lever for years, they take a little getting use to, but once you do, there is nothing easier to use, I repair bikes for sale, and have worked in a bike shop. The best way to get a tire off and on is without any tools, to prevent pinching the tube, but when you have to use a tool Quick Stick is the first one I grab.

This is Not Like the Ones of Old By A Lot
I've got one that is 20+ years old and I never fear it breaking when I use it on even the most stubborn Kevlar tires. The new one is a much stiffer and brittle feeling material. If it's nylon it's not the same recipe by far.I still love the shape and design , along with its length, but the lack of flex doesn't inspire confidence to use this on a new Kevlar tire mounting for its first time. The price was nice also and it arrived before the scheduled date so that's another plus.If I use it and it doesn't break I'll come back and edit this review and add the other star

Not Something I Can Recommend
I kept seeing reviews for these and how 'amazing' they are. I would like to see what they are being used for - road tires, beach cruisers, mountain bikes or? They are huge, clunky and simply not a good idea in any form for use on a 700x23,25,28 tire. I typically never use tire levers anyhow and only my thumbs, unfortunately one of my new sets of tubeless are EXTREMELY tight and I need 'something' the first time I put on a new set. Once they've been on the wheel once, I can manage on and off without levers. Anyway, these seem decently made for a plastic rod with some shape and may be the best thing ever for some users, that is great! For me, they are not something I can recommend.

I naively expected that the reference to 'Tire Levers' in ...
I naively expected that the reference to 'Tire Levers' in the plural implied there would be more than one, since I have no idea what '1/CD' means. Also, some reviews refer to instructions, but none were included. Add the fact that delivery took 20 days, and I'm unimpressed.

Handy, but watch out for your tire bead
I used this product on an IRC Lover's Soul tire, a decent quality, low-pressure 26" tire for city and street riding. Although the Quik Stik popped the tire off the rim very easily, it mangled the bead. The Quik Stik did make short work of taking the tire off, so I am not opposed to trying the lever on a tire with a different stye bead, however, if you have an expensive set of tires, I would proceed with marked caution.

Still a classic!
Had a quick stick for a couple of decades, and loved it. Then some meathead stole my saddle pack along with my beloved quick stick. While this version isn't quite as pretty as my old one, it works just as well. I'll take a quick stick over tire levers any day of the week!

Quik Stik is Slick
Easy to use. Get another just in case you need more leverage. It is one tool not to be without to remove tires and tubes.

A must have tire tool
I read all the reviews and they were all glowing except for one who claimed the tool ripped a tire bead. I've been using the Quik Stik for over 20 years and knew plenty of people who also used them, and not one time have I ever heard of this tool ripping a bead, and if you look at the way it's constructed you'll see that it's impossible for that to happen unless the bead was damaged before the tool was used on it or somehow the rim damaged the bead as the tool was being used perhaps incorrectly or perhaps a burr on the rim.Anyway, the Quik Stik comes with easy to understand instructions, however the instructions does lack in one area of possible tire removal problem, some rims and tires today are very tightly fitted and there isn't enough space to slide the Quik Stik between so you have to carry a set of tire irons to start the removal process. Again due to tight fitting tires and rims plastic irons will and can break therefore use the Soma Steel Core tire irons instead, they're made of thick plastic so there's nothing to damage the rim with but with a core of steel so they won't snap like all plastic levers. You slide a lever under the bead and lift the bead up and over the rim edge and lock the lever's hook onto a spoke, insert a second lever about two inches from the first and repeat. Now in between the two levers insert the Quik Stik under the tire as the instructions say to do so, then remove one of the levers and slide the Quik Stik around the rim to remove the tire per the instructions. If you want the fastest way to remove a tire the Quik Stik is the only answer.
