Just as good as Fender or Seymour
I bought these as an upgrade to my Squier Strat and I’m absolutely blown away. I have a start with USA 57/62 pickups, as well as a 1981 Strat with original pickups. These Fleors are just as good. Both in terms of build quality and sound. The sound on these are a little more compressed when you hit them hard, probably more like Fender’s Tex Mex pickups. They pair nicely with Fleor’s JB copy. These are my first set of Fleors and I will find it hard to justify buying more expensive pickups moving forward.

Great value, great sound
Used these to upgrade a squirt bullet I had. Very impressed with the twang and tone. A bargain in my opinion.

Outstanding Value and Performance, But Packaging Could Be Better
The media could not be loaded. For the price, these pickups are excellent and perform amazingly well. The sound quality exceeded my expectations, especially at this price point. My only gripe is with the packaging. While the pickups themselves are great, it would have been nice if they came in a proper box for better protection during shipping. I've purchased cheaper pickups before that at least included basic packaging. Overall, though, these are a fantastic choice for project guitars or upgrades on a budget.

GREAT PICKUPS FOR THE PRICE. QUALITY..
I bought these pickups to replace the cheap ceramic pickups on my made in China fender Squier Strat guitar. I was able to use my white pickup covers because they have the import spacing. Very happy with the overall tones, and the quality of the pickups. These are not cheap by any means. I purchased the staggered set. And they had cloth wiring. Very happy with my purchase! Going to buy another set to have on hand for a future project.

Great bang for the buck...
I bought these as a curiosity, based on the low price for Alnico 5 pickups. They are actually very good, especially for the price. They are not boutique hand wound pickups, but they do a good job of catching some vintage strat tones.. I have been playing for many years and have other Strats with Fralins, Van Zandts, Lollars and Fender single coils, so I know good good Strat tones... These cheap pickups are not quite as balanced, rich and chimey as good boutique pickups, but they offer much better traditional strat tones and quack than the basic ceramic coil pickups you find in most entry level guitars... The middle pickup is noise cancelling, and they are relatively quiet, but obviously have some typical light single coil hum in the single pick-up modes. If you play around with pickup heights and your own EQ settings you will find some pretty good Strat tone for less than $10 per pickup... These are a great value. They come wrapped without labels or instructions in a bag, so you will need to sort out the order... There bridge has yellow lead, the middle blue and neck is white lead... Another reviewer had them in different order, but if you look at Amazon listing for these the lead colors relate to the photos for each position..

These are solid pickups
I have a good size collection of guitars and did not want to pay another $250+ for a complete set of Seymour Duncan or Dimarzio pickups. As a result, I decided to give the Fleor Single Coil Alnico 5 Strat pickups a try. The pickups came in a padded Amazon bag and were wrapped in tin foil inside the Fleor packaging. The pickups were clearly labeled, wax potted with fiber plate bobbin, had cloth connection wire, and looked like higher end pickups. The neck and middle pickup measured between 6-7k and the bridge pickup measured between 7-8k as spec'd. After wiring the pickups, I plugged in to see what I was working with and to my surprise they sounded really good. Good volume, well voiced and not too thin. The 2 and 4 position sounded great and balanced but not as jangly or quaky as some strats when the middle pickup is not RWRP like these are. The 2 and 4 position is definitely hum cancelling but I didn't find the pickups to be overly noisy per say. The bridge pickup sounds great clean and great when playing into a distorted/overdriven amp. I was expecting that I might have to change the bridge pickup but after hearing it, I think I am going to leave everything as is. I don't know if I will ever buy one of those pricey name brand pickups again. I am very happy with my purchase.
