Helps with the process to reduce saliva and tear stains.
I love this spray and all Eye Envy tear stain remover products. When I use EVERY day, tge tear stains on my Maltese lighten and do go away. If I or you don’t use it every day, you won’t see results. I use the spray on my dogs chin and I cover his eyes and spray on his muzzle after I have already cleaned under his eyes. I am super careful not to spray in his eyes. After that, I comb his muzzle, under his eyes, his chin and let it dry. Great stuff. Very helpful in preventing or reducing the brown tear or saliva stains. You do need other products to help. This spray will not reduce tear stains or saliva stains if that is all you use. This is the 2nd bottle I have purchased.

It works if you are willing to spend the money and time
Solutions for beard staining are as numerous and mostly useless as diet advice. There are any number of products that claim to remove stains, along with purified water and feeding something without beet root or grain. I found them totally ineffective. This product works, although I'll be darned if I know why: the ingredients looks to be typically holistic woo. The big advantage of this is that it's easy to apply and apparently tasteless. But you need to use a lot, for a long time, and it's expensive. I originally bought the smaller 4 oz bottle and used it more or less consistently for a while until our routine went through some upheaval and I stopped. It didn't eliminate all of the staining but enough so that after things settled down, I bought another bottle, this time the large 8 oz. I used it consistently once a day for four months and now the staining is almost completely gone, enough so I don't mind it. I sprayed each side of my white terrier's mouth once a day, four or five sprays on each side. The company recommends that the application be almost dripping. Emma would always lick where I sprayed but the liquid seems tasteless and according to the company licking doesn't keep the product from working. The thing is, it took almost four months and 4 oz of product to work. So $15 worth. People who give up after using this for two days aren't giving it a chance and people who claim it worked after two days, I don't believe. I think that you have to be using it while new hair grows out for you to see the difference. I would recommend buying the larger size, which works out to be cheaper per application. Once the stains go away you 'll want to keep spraying a few times a week to keep them away. I think the larger bottle could last almost a year if you used it everyday for several months and then every other day for a longer period of time. If you buy the smaller bottle I think you'd use up the entire thing in "phase one" and have to buy it again for maintenance. I really don't want to become an expert on this subject. Given how easy this is to use and eventually effective, I'd rather just spend the money. Your mileage may vary. :)

No magic here
I have 2 dogs that get tear/beard stains. I was hoping this would be the answer I was looking for. Unfortunately, it didn't help or make a difference that I've seen.

Eye Envy Beard Stain Remover Spray did not work for persian cat's brown chest and leg stains..
Did not work for my persian cat's brown chest and front leg stains. His coat color is solid blue. Staining is from him self grooming...saliva. porophyrins. I hope I spelled that right. He is bathed regularly, at least every 4 weeks.

Caution! Test a small spot first!!!
Caution! This was amazing on our white poodle mix’s chin and face, but we also have a white miniature poodle/Chihuahua mix that didn’t do so well. Immediately after we applied it, he had some sort of reaction and we had to rinse his face under the faucet and then I sat with him for probably 30 minutes, putting ice wrapped in a damp, soft washcloth on his little nose and eyes because it almost acted like a chemical burn, as I’m guessing is what was happening. After it was applied , he immediately started to try and run his face against the rug and wipe his face with his paws. But for the other dog it worked miracles so I would use it with him again, but, one should use it with caution.

Great for orange beard stains!
I love this for my schnauzers’s beards - it keeps them white but needs to be used very regularly to keep up maintenance.

I am hoping that this will improve my dogs brownish stains on his chest area as otherwise he is white . He is on heart tablet and water tablet a day and until on these he was clean no staining. Seems to be working but will take time
