I waited 12 hours to put this over the very hard foam mattress on a folding sofa bed. I was able to sleep well for the first night in 4 days. It made a world of difference to me. I like firm support, but my arthritis does not. This mattress gave me the buffer I needed. Egg side down on the firm mattress gave me a nice soft layer between me and the mattress. I recommend this product.

I got this topper because I have a bad back and a bad bed. I am always looking for support to shore up the areas of the mattress that sink with my too-big-around-the-middle frame. This has helped in the short run. I had just tried a Serta memory foam topper, and ti was fine for a month, but then it seemed to turn to mush when my body heat would "melt" the comfortable and firm foam. I threw it out. This Egg Crate Topper is good. The long-term solution, however, is to buy a $3,000 mattress, asap, instead of buying serially $500-900 mattresses that never seem to get the job done. Oh, and I tried the My Mattress topper as well. It, like the Serta Memory Foam, began to sag where my mattress sagged--under the middle of my body.

This mattress pad worked beyond my expectations. I had to buy the 2" because they did not sell a queen size in 3". However, it still did the job. When added with my down alternative mattress cover, it is like sleeping on a high quality, high priced new mattress. So, if you want to upgrade your mattress, I recommend this combination. It worked like a dream for me.

Ordered the 2 in. Pad, afraid 3 in. Would have been too thick. Just needed a little padding for our firm mattress since we are side sleepers. Let this pad sit out for 1 day as directed. You can see that even measuring at the highest part of the mattress it is NOT 2 inches. Looks like the 1.5 in. Pad I could have bought at Fred Meyers for half the price! Not happy! Tried it on our bed anyway. Fits fine, but other than the egg crate feel you don't know it's there. Uugghh Gue I'll go. To Freddy's and just buy one to stack on this one

It's whatever. Nothing great. It is pretty thin, super flimsy, lumpy, & the sizing is way off. I have a fairly new (under a year old) Queen size mattress so I purchased the queen size foam. The foam is not wide enough by at least 6-8". It is also probably 6" inches too long. The item comes wrapped up in a cylinder shape. And due to the way it is wrapped, it has weird ridges in it that are hard to flatten out.It's going back.

For years I struggled to find a topper that would alleviate severe mid-back pain caused by not being able to find a mattress that would, by itself, provide me a comfortable night's sleep. A 3-inch memory foam topper helped, but I was still waking up sore. A 2-inch memory foam topper helped too, but I was still waking up sore. Then I bought this item. I knew within 10 minutes of laying on the DMI Foam Mattress Topper, that it was the solution. I am sleeping much better and waking up without the pain I was experiencing. Life changing. Just fyi, I find it useful to rotate the topper 180 degrees, once per week, and let it breath for a day atop the mattress without anything on top of it. I highly recommend this product.

Comfortable and no smell to deal with! I am so glad there is something that’s not hot and is not memory foam.
