Great dual zone fridge for camping and road trips
I’ve been using the ICECO GO20 for a while now and it has been a great addition for our camping and road trips. The dual zone setup worked well for our needs, by maintaining drinks perfectly chilled on one side while keeping frozen stuff completely solid on the other side without hassle. Given its smaller size, it fits great in the back of the vehicle and the build quality feels solid and well madePerformance wise, this fridge has fit our needs well; it cools the items relatively quickly after plugging it in, and the compressor is power efficient given the performance. It runs quiet enough that I barely notice it's there, even when sleeping in close proximity to it. Also, it draws little power from my 12V setup, which gives me peace of mind when we're off the grid for a few days and trying to manage battery lifeOn top of that, their customer service team is top notch. I reached out to them recently with a temperature sensor issue and their team was responsive and communicative throughout the process. It’s rare to find a company that makes a high quality product and actually back it up with solid customer service

Really nice little frig if your wanting a second one in your big truck.
Edit: I’m not going to change the rating but I do want to l leave and update about a problem I had which apparently some other reviewers also had. While I was away from the truck, the cigarette lighter plug popped out of the socket to the AC adaptor the refrigerator came with. It doesn’t seem to lock in very well, probably because the spring for the tip is too strong. Fortunately I saw the problem before my food spoiled but it could have been bad. I fixed to problem by wrapping electrical tape around the connection point to hold them together but frankly, I should not have needed to do that. Iceco should really address that as it also pops out when plugged into a cigarette lighter socket. Still think it’s a very good refrigerator otherwise. So bought the GO20 to use as a 2nd refrigerator/freezer for use in my Peterbilt 579. For the space that it needed to occupy and the price, it seemed to be the best option. I will say, that if your putting it in a standard 579 like mine versus and Ultraloft, and have a 24” TV mounted to the standard mount that comes in the Peterbilt, you will need to attach a swivel mount and have the tv at and angle while traveling. In theory based on the dimensions it should fit without the modification but the angle of the back corner of the wall as well as the need to keep the grill on the refrigerator clear means your shy about and inch for all practical purposes. It will fit but it pushes on the tv pretty solidly and a few bumps down the road are going to break the tv. A 22” tv or smaller shouldn’t need any modifications. The refrigerator has and app to control it on iOS and Android. I’m iOS so I can’t speak to Android functionality but on the iPhone it works flawlessly. I’ve seen some other people complain they couldn’t pair the refrigerator with their phone but my experience is you don’t need to. Once you install the app, when it’s near the refrigerator, it just see’s it without needing to go into the Bluetooth menu and pairing. I think it’s using something akin to Ultra Wide Band versus standard Bluetooth to connect. There’s a whole thing in the book about how to calibrate the temp settings versus a thermometer but I didn’t need to do that. The super chill feature will get the left side down to close to zero in about 45 minutes and it will freeze water bottles rather quickly. I find its easiest to set parameters in the app versus on the touch pad on the refrigerator. Everything on mine already came using American units but that can be switched in the app if your feeling French. Reliability in the truck is a mixed bag. It seems to have a hard time maintaining temps when plugged into the cigarette lighter when the truck has been off for a while and I think that has everything to do with the the battery protection built in. It just doesn’t do a good job of sending the actual voltage so even when you set the refrigerator to the lowest protection level, it wants to think your available voltage is lower than it is and I’m running 1kw of solar panels. That’s the bad. The good is that if you have a decent true sine wave inverter like a Xantrax or the one that comes with a Tripac, it will run off of that and all those issues go away. It will not work on a normal inverter like what most of the truck stops sell and if you’ve got a small auxiliary true sine wave inverter, like the little 300 watt one I’m running it’s going to pop it’s protection circuit. My 1000/1500 watt Xantrax seems to be able to run this, a 1000 watt microwave and a couple of battery chargers no problem at the same time. If your going to buy this to use in a truck like I did, your either going to want to buy the grey one that comes with the insulating bag or if you just have to have white, splurge on the bag for $59. The refrigerator is very shiny and the space between the wall and the mattress is tight with a small knob sticking out for the passenger sleeper window. Your going to scratch the heck out of it without the bag. The thing seems to be very energy efficient but I’m guessing the insulated bag helps a lot. Shipping time was not good. It took almost three months to get to me so I am just a bit worried if it needs warranty. I’m guessing that has a lot to do with COVID 19 so I’ll just hope it stays reliable. There where a couple other options I found that would have been a slightly better fit but the amount of storage in them wasn’t as good. There where some others that where using the good compressor that this frig uses that also would have fit and have decent room inside but they where all way more expensive. Shiny plastic shell aside, the GO20 seems to be a well designed machine and it is sturdy. If it holds up which I think it will, it’s dollar for dollar the best bang for the bucks I’ve found and I looked long and hard. I think if your looking for and extra truck frig, you probably can’t go wrong with this frig.

Good fridge and good customer service
I've used this fridge nearly constantly for the last year as I've been traveling around the country in my car. It's so great not to need to deal with a cooler and getting ice. I use an EcoFlow River 2 Pro to keep it running and charge that from my car when it's on. The whole system has worked great and kept my food cold. Recently, the Iceco fridge started reading a high temperature on the display and ran the compressor constantly, freezing the food inside. After talking with Iceco support, it appears that the temperature sensor is faulty and cannot be replaced. Despite being a few months out of the 1 year general warranty, Iceco has offered to send me a new unit. So despite it failing, I'm still giving this 5 stars for the customer service and the manufacturer standing by their product. Hopefully the next unit will last longer.

ICECO GO20 Dual Zone 12 Volt Refrigerator – Thorough 2025 Jeep Camper Review
Expectations & Purchase BackgroundA few months ago, I purchased the ICECO GO20 specifically for camping trips in my Jeep. My main goal was to find a compact, rugged fridge that could reliably keep food cold or frozen, whether powered by the Jeep’s 12V outlet or a portable power station.Performance & Day-to-Day UseThe fridge has been riding in the back of my Jeep through various camping trips and off-road excursions. It plugs in easily, cools down fast, and both zones can be accurately set for refrigeration or freezing. The unit’s app is straightforward—connecting and adjusting temperatures from my phone has been seamless. The controls on the fridge itself are also intuitive.Pros- Cools and freezes quickly, even after powering off for a while- App control is user-friendly (Bluetooth), and manual controls are simple- Fits nicely in the back of a Jeep without taking up excessive space- Dual zone allows for keeping drinks chilled and food frozen at the same time- Quiet operation, doesn’t disturb sleep in the tent at night- Build seems robust, handles have held up well to frequent movementCons- No significant issues encountered after several months- Included power cords could be a bit longer for more placement flexibility- Fridge does not have good tie-down points, making secure mounting in a vehicle a challengeDescription AccuracyThe fridge delivers exactly as advertised: true dual zone cooling, with consistent performance on both 12V DC and AC power. The app and separate controls meet expectations set by the product description.Takeaways & RecommendationIf you need a reliable, portable refrigerator/freezer for a vehicle or camping setup, the ICECO GO20 is a great option. The combination of flawless function, easy controls, and rugged build make it ideal for overlanders or anyone needing independent cold storage on the go. I would recommend this to other Jeep or van campers without hesitation.

Nice little fridge for camping
Just received this fridge yesterday. I immediately set it up to test that the unit was functioning properly. Very easy setup and I even received the insulation jacket with the order. The fridge seems very well built and will certainly offer the functionality I need for camping. After starting up the unit, it took approximately 15 minutes for the freezer to get to 0 degrees and the fridge to get to 36 degrees. The compressor cuts out when it gets to desired temperature and I notice that the temp. reading fluctuates back up, sometimes 10 degrees from desired temperature. The compressor does start up right away and gets it back down to correct temp within 15 seconds. I don't think this fluctuation is a deal breaker and will be fine for my intended use. The app is a nice feature to be able to monitor the fridge while on the road, however it is a bit finicky. Sometimes it wont connect properly, forcing you to close the app and restart it. Again, not a deal breaker. The only concern I do have is the adapter. The spring in the adapter caused the adapter to pop out of socket on one occasion (like many other reviews have stated). I was moving the wire and it just fell out. This could become an issue while driving but I will update this review after I have driven with the unit in the truck. This is the only reason for a 4 vs 5 star review. If you're looking for a well designed (minus the adapter), "smart" fridge for camping, picnics, the beach...this should cover your needs.I will update the review with any other issues, if necessary.

Designed by Tesla with some upgrades from Yugo (Edit 3/26/2021)
This refrigerator looks like it is made very well. Very nice fit and finish, like I said, it looks like Tesla made it. And it is VERY quiet. I could sleep right next to it and it does not bother me (I normally wake up at the drop of a pin). That said it has some quirks that look like Yugo added to it. The cigarette plug is very difficult to keep plugged-in, it comes out with just the slightest movement thereby shutting the refrigerator off. Even the plug at the actual refrigerator site was hard to keep connected sometimes also. The cooling seems like it was about 10 degrees off, my separate internal thermometer consistently showed a temperature of about 10+ degrees warmer than what the fridge showed. Ice cream was very soft and it was hard to freeze water. The manual was not clear and hard to understand, one example is the instructions to get it into “Advanced Settings” were very unclear. I had to go to YouTube to figure it out. The instructions says it comes in Celsius by default, but mine was in Fahrenheit (did I get a used one?). I also got an error code once and it stopped working, not sure what it was for or what caused it because of the difficult and incomplete manual.Pros:• Appears to be extremely well made• Has nice touches like soft close lid, interior LED light• Extremely quiet• Can be used as a freezer/refrigerator or just a freezer or just a refrigeratorCons:• Cigarette plug comes apart very easily, turning off the fridge• Actual temperature is much higher than what shows• Water is hard to freeze, ice cream is very soft• Unknown error codes• Very difficult instructions• I have absolutely no idea on how to get it into the advertised 27 watt ECO mode• Main plug difficult to secureThoughts:When I tested this it was a little warm outside. The freezer could never get below about 10 degrees F (so actually 20 degrees?). It ran constantly. I tested several running situations to try to make it run better. The method I liked the best was to take the divider out and just use it just as a refrigerator at a temperature of 42 degrees for the whole unit. It turned on much less with this setup (using less of my RV batteries) and for me will probably be the way I use it in the future. So I gave this a rather low score of only 3 stars, and also a lot of cons, so the question is would I purchase this again and the answer is yes. It seems to be a quality product with some faults that could be corrected easily and cheaply by the manufacturer. And the size fits perfectly in the area I need. They could have written the manual clearer, they could have made a connection that does not separate so easily, they could explain the error codes, and they could make the temperature numbers more accurate, all easy inexpensive fixes in my opinion.Edit 1/21/2021 ICECO has been very proactive on this review, commenting in the comment section (one of the best things with Amazon reviews, but are now recently gone...bad move Amazon) with a phone number for contact, and suggestions on all my questions/problems. I have updated the review to 4 stars and will test out the F1/F2/F3 suggestion to regulate to temperature, and try out the new cigarette adaptor they sent me for the connection problems. I will further update this review in the future with results.Edit 3/26/2021 ICECO is outstanding with their customer service. They fixed the cigarette cord, cooling problem, and ALL PROBLEMS, etc. A future more extensive updated review will come soon.

DO NOT BUY-WARRANTY IS FAKE
I would not buy again because the 5 year warranty is really not what they say. I have been emailing back and forth now for 2 weeks, and had one phone call with customer service at ICECO to get a replacement for my 3 plus year old ICECO GO20 that is no longer working. It turns on but nothing gets cold. Compressor not working. Once they confirmed I have an issue they want to send me a refurbished unit which by the way they are out of. I loved this cooler until I needed customer service and the company to honor the warranty they brag about. The warranty is what sold me. I was doomed. Amazon that heaven has reached out to the company and requested they send me a new unit. We will see what happens.Update- Amazon says no help with this as they only help within 30 days of purchase. ICECO sends me an email and offers me 50% off a new one. I need a replacement free of charge for a device they agree is still under warranty and failed..Update- ICECO is refusing to refund my original payment or send me a new one. They want to send me a refurbished unit with no warranty extension and no idea what the delivery date would be. Could be months

Warranty is misleading or rather not clear
*****Hopefully final update 7-9-26*****I'm Bumping Up Review To 5 Stars From Original 1 star.....Why?Customer service really came through. Responses were prompt/within the response time frames mentioned.I received a call from tech service in the US and after going through my scenario/current situation, it was determined that I would be receiving a replacement unit. Now, this is ICECO'S current replacement policy 5 years for the compressor is covered and there are time frames within that 5 years which will depend on the replacement unit a customer receives.1. If the unit needs replacement within the 1st year of purchase, a brand new unit is sent out to the customer.2. Up to 3 years....A Class "A" replacement will be sent out. It falls under "refurbished" but the only flaw will/would have been a cosmetic flaw that couldn't be sold as new.3. Between 3-5 years, a refurbished/repaired unit will be sent out. It will have been tested to ensure everything is working as should.***Original 5 year warranty is still in effect even with the replacement units***It really is a beautiful unit, if a cooler could be described as such. I love the grey color and it's really a perfect combination of size, weight, portability and functionality ie dual zone for my needs.*********Original Review*********If I hadn't paid so much money, I might have given more stars. The reviews are glowing and the warranty is what really sold me.After approximately 1.5 years of actual use. It was never even used outside of the house ie it stayed in 1 location....No jarring or movement.Used it for very expensive medications to keep separate. Opened at most 1 time a day, if that.Once again, after ~1.5 years in service, the compressor has completely died. It's actually been a slow process that finally culminated yesterday. The temperature now reads 74 degrees when set to 37.I have unplugged, replugged, hard reset, different power sources ie wall & solar generator. It blows warm air with the faint and I mean faint sound of the compress and it draws between 24-30 watts top.I called customer service, only offshore available in the Philippines. While the gentleman was very nice, I requested to speak with someone in the United States and was told that is not possible and a case would be opened/ticket submitted. After scrolling through Iceco's website, I came across a number that mentioned Los Angeles. I called requesting to speak with someone in the United States and was told that they would need to forward the message and I would receive a call back.*******I was also told that I was only eligible for a refurbished unit. What exactly that means/entails, I have no idea ....Will the unit be just cosmetically a 2nd, Will it have been sent back & repaired, Is there any type of warranty on this "refurbished" unit ie the 5 year compressor? Will it have all of the functionality of my original unit? I read that a customer received a replace that didn't have the BLUETOOTH functionality of their original unit.Wil it even be the same color? I guess I'll find out soon enough, but for how much $$$ was spent I am quite dismayed to say the least. We'll see.*****Updated***** 7/5/26I forgot to mention that upon contacting Iceco re: my Iceco GO20, I was asked for my original Amazon order #.Since it was past 2 years from my purchase of the Iceco GO20, I was informed that they had no record of purchase/were not able to locate/access my Amazon order #.I was asked for a screenshot of my original purchase/order # which I provided. I am including the email sent to me from Iceco requesting the screenshot.Keep records/documentation

Best little fridge setup you can have
I purchased my GO20 in June of 2023 and it has been in constant use for 2 yr and 10 months. I have it set up and powered by my Bluetti AC200 MAX which is able to keep it going for a week. As a senior (84) who no longer uses his RV, I wanted an emergency option during power failures and my setup did save some ice cream and other frozen food during a 4 day power outage. Normally I set the GO20 to 10 C, and keep my produce in it. Bananas will keep for a week. It is a great fridge and the customer service has been fantastic. You won't go wrong with the G020

Bon camping!

So far so good
We had a different brand of cooler that we raved about until it quit after 3 seasons. A few other campers expressed no surprise at that and recommended ICECO. So far we are very pleased. It is well made and performed well its first season. Time will tell
