Zippo quality, as expected!
Works as it should. Easy to fill and adjust the flames. The dual torch system is strong and will light pretty much anything.

MUST HAVE!
Works better than other cigar lighters. First lighter I've used that doesn't freeze up when refilled.

Required some tweaking with the regulator for proper functionality
I bought this butane insert over 4 years ago and it never really worked that well. I tried the suggestions to remove the limiter, etc... and then the thought occurred me to recently to adjust it without the limiter. This worked. I was able to find the minimum point where it would stay barely ignited. Then turned it until it was using fuel too fast. Then backed it down to find a good sweet spot. Then I re-inserted the limiter based on this. Now it easily ignites and stays on, and repeat ignitions are 100% reliable. I no longer have to worry about the Zippo fuel drying with the old wick setup. I can also buy Zippo butane fuel relatively cheaply at my local store. If yours doesn't ignite properly, stay lit, or uses fuel too quickly - I suggest playing with the adjustments with or without the limiter to get it to work.

Decent dual-torch cigar lighter insert
I like the butane insert overall. The dual torches light a cigar better and with less residual odor than the liquid fuel version. The butane torch is not quite as reliable as the liquid fuel insert, not as windproof, doesn't want to light when the weather is very cold, and runs out of fuel pretty quickly, but none of those are critical flaws. I've had to replace 2 of these inserts that eventually stopped working, but they have a 2-year warranty and Zippo quickly shipped me replacements after I verified I'd performed the troubleshooting steps. I end up using the butane inserts more than the liquid fuel originals.

Some user error, new to refills
I never successfully refilled a butane lighter before. I recently found some cheap knock off butane zippo, already filled on shelf. But they're junk.I saw zippo brand had a dual torch. Ummm yes!I couldn't fill and didnt understand why. I have universal tips. I thought i was spraying gas all over the lighter. After looking up tutorials, none mention my user error problem.I just spraying that cold co2 or whatever, I wasnt giving the nozzle the full gusto. I didnt try full gusto, because I thought I got gas all over. 😔🤭I saw a tip eventually that to let the can get room temp again between refills. I realized too most of my attempts would have been that cold biproduct. It works just great now. The full + is too big of torch but turning it down too much doesnt light at all. But the setting that works is perfect. Maybe my story will help someone else out. 🫰

Nice fit
Fits my Zippo lighter perfectly. Nice addition for a cigar smoker. Good flame.

Travel carefully
Love the product but TSA doesn’t. Cannot carry on a flight. My fault but hated to loose it. Pretty sure the agent is using it now. Did let me keep my housing.

It works well, looks good, the flames are strong (That's all the good I can say).
Do check out YouTube video on how to fix butane insert. It is working well, after adjusting the valve.**REVISED REVIEW**This is rather disappointing: it turned out to be one that only looks good. The Butane Insert performed great initially. As I began using it, I noticed the flame getting shorter. I maxed out the flame, but to no avail. now one month and 3 days later, it altogether stopped working.I pressed the igniter button next to my ear, and I do not hear any "Sssss..." from the nozzle. No gas is escaping, when the ignitor button is pressed, even when the piezo clicks. I appears that gas is not being released at all to be ignited. So, I find this item suffers from two defects: 1) Gas output control lets out gas only at the minimum strength; 2) Igniter button does not release gas.So I checked Zippo website for return instruction. They want my address, email, and telephone, and picture of the date code on the insert. Too much hassle, and not giving out my personal info for this POS. Zippo wants to mine my personal info, in return for fulfilling their warrantee. So I checked the return policy on the item page on Amazon, and it may be returned, IF UNUSED! By the way, the return window closed exactly one month after purchase.Well, sad to say it, but: GOOD LUCK with buying this piece, future customers! It's a gamble. It's not the same Zippo, at least not after 2005. That was last time I bought one. It remains a perfect Zippo specimen.** ** ** ** **I filled it for 5 sec initially, before I attempted to light. It was touch and go in the beginning. I filled it until the gas began to leak (to the full), and it lit up everytime. The trick is to depress the button lightly to let the gas out, then depress all the way down for the piezo to spark.Voila! twin lovely blue flame shot up. I will see about its longevity and gas retention after a period of enjoyable use.AS for $15 (almost) price? Well... I wish it was cheaper, but if this insert last long, I think I can accept it. But I bought it for the novelty value and coolness of it.
