In reviewing this Amazon asks to give a star rating for the remote control and timer function. These have neither. You just flick a switch to turn them on or off...Lights are very bright. Take 3 AA batteries and last for a good while. We have a newborn baby and have put these above our headboard and leave them on at night. Leave a good red glow in the room which is dark enough that we can sleep but bright enough that we can see when baby wakes. Baby loves staring at them at night, she gets mesmerised and then falls asleep (advice from the baby book). They last about 5 weeks of constant use, on for a few hours each night.The copper wire seems a bit delicate, but once the lights have been carefully put up, this is a benefit as you don't have bold wires everywhere.

Surprised just how nice, dainty and bright these lights are. A few fir cones in fireplace along with these lights looks very Christmassy.

My child wanted to be The Warden from Minecraft for Halloween, handily telling me the day before the disco. He then mentioned it “lit up” with blue twinkly lights.I found these tiny lights that were fine and lightweight enough to use in the cardboard box costume, and though they didn’t flash, he could switch them on and off himself.i am not sure how long they will last but they have been great for what we needed them for.

Arrived with a crack across the battery pack.Still worked though so kept them but now after a few days the green lights are blaring bright and the other colours have gone dim. Not sure what that's about. Cheap stuff.

I needed a couple of small sets of fairy lights for my daughters' 20" Christmas trees. These fit the bill in terms of size and cost. The lights light up nice and bright as well. They don't include different lighting modes for flashing, pulsing, etc... but that is fine. I recommend them.

Shame no timer and no remote control. Nice colour lights. I paid the same price from another company and got remote control and timer.

The colour of the so-called 'red' LEDs are a sort of sickly dark pink. Therefore not as advertised.

Lovely bright lights - very heavy on the batteries though. Only lasted a week, and only switched on for a couple of hours each day.
