Works, it's a real pain to get it to go back down, have to turn the release almost all the way out for it to go down

Don't buy it
We bought two of these to jack up a house wall. Both did not retract when turning the screw to lower them. We had to force a screw driver between them and the wood to pry them to lower a bit so we could remove them and then had to stand on the piston to get them to lower. One jack leaked fluid and even after adding jack fluid into the pump and trying to clear the air in the line, we couldn't get it to pump up anymore. Don't waste your money buying these.
