Stunning boots!
Very good quality of the boots. It took me forever to find my size. I wear 8 and started from that and it was too tight, then I changed it on 8W and then 9W. I ended up with 8.5W. It’s a bit loose, and I wanted that effect since it’s not dress shoes and I want to wear it with thick socks later in a Fall. Maybe, just 8.5 would be the best, but I already tired to change them. They look stylish and classy. The leather looks great. I haven’t wear them outside yet, but it feels as they should be comfy.

So so COMFY!
Definitely size up at least half a size! I'm typically a 7 and I have wider feet. I ordered the 8 wide originally bc my mom and sister bought the same shoes (in black) and we are all the same size and they said the 8 is what they ended up getting. For me the 8 wide was a bit too roomy. I never tried the 8 regular but the 7.5 regular fit perfectly!!!! Super comfy super sturdy and so cute! Highly recommend these!Update: I own 5 different pairs of these now. Highly recommend! My size hasn't changed between colors so far!

BUY THEM! Awesome boots at a great price!
This is my second pair of the Lucky Women's Basel Boot. My first pair was purchased from the brick & mortar Lucky Brand store last Thanksgiving weekend. I absolutely fell in LOVE with that first pair in the Toffee color. My only complaint was that it was a little tight across the ball of my feet but that was easily remedied by taking them to my local shoe repair and having them stretched. Once I did that they were perfect! So perfect in fact that when I saw them here on Amazon I jumped at the chance for another pair, this time in the Italian Olive suede. This pair was perfect right out of the box with no need for stretching which I attributed to the material being suede and softer by nature. And the rubber sole means no slippery break-in time - they feel like sneakers! I've worn them about a half dozen times now (one day walking all over downtown) and they are amazingly comfy and supportive as is the first pair in Toffee. They have the perfect heel height for comfort AND style. I've worn both pairs with skinny jeans, skirts and dresses and I get compliments every time. My only note about sizing is that I usually wear a 7 in closed toe shoes but found the 7 to be a bit too big so sized down to a 6.5 which fits like a glove. My feet are narrow so I'm not sure how gals with wider feet would do in these boots especially given that I needed the first pair stretched a bit, but I refuse to wear shoes that are even a tiny bit uncomfortable so maybe those that don't have that as a priority won't mind a little snug-ness around the balls of the feet. I've read that some who bought these boots felt they haven't held up well, especially when worn in wet weather. This has not been my experience. In fact I just wore the Olive suede ones many days in a row and as I mentioned above walking all over downtown one day and they still look gorgeous and brand new. We've had a ton of rain lately, but I did not wear them in the wet weather because I didn't want them to get wrecked as is my habit whenever it gets rainy. I generally wear rain boots or water proofed UGGS when it rains so I don't ruin my nicer shoes, but that's easy for me since I live in SoCal and we have long dry spells between wet weather. Hope this review helps those who are considering these awesome boots. My advice: BUY THEM! For this price they are fantastic! I may actually get a third pair! ;-)

So cute, needs inserts
I wear a 7.5, sometimes wide, and bought these in a size 7.5 Wide in Toffee.I really like these boots. The wide width fits my medium-wide feet. They seam to be made to look a bit worn, but not shabby or worn down. The color is great, the zippers run smooth, and the heel is a good low height for me. The top of the boots come up to around the top of my ankle bone. I think they'll look great under pants, or below cropped pants or skirts/dresses. I have small ankles, so the opening at the top of the boot seems a bit large, but that just means it'll accommodate larger ankles as well. There isn't any arch support, so I'll have to get inserts for that. They seem to be true leather, as expected. Overall, a great boot to add to my wardrobe.

Rubs ankle
I really wanted to keep these boots. They took a long time to be delivered & I was sad they didn't work for me. The boots have a western look & the red color is great. The footbed is very cushy, so I imagine they would be very comfortable to wear for an extended time. They fit my foot fine, not too tight or anything. My problem was the front ankle part cut into my ankle. It's very stiff so it would have taken a long time to soften up, if it ever did. So I returned them unfortunately.

Great for wide foot/ high instep/add heel taps before wearing
I tried on probably between 12 and 14 pairs of boots in this style from various companies that could not fit my slightly wide foot with high in step. This boot slipped on like a glove with wiggle room that I like to wear a thicker socks. It has two zippers on each boot that actually unzip that help with putting on the boot for those of us with a high instep. The area around the ankle is wide, so it doesn’t dig in to your shins or calfs. The only thing I will say is that it needs a more comfortable insert. When doing a lot of walking the balls of my feet started to hurt. They have enough room to purchase a cushioned insole or pad for the ball of your foot.. so I still recommend! Very good looking boot as well. Definitely have taps put on the heels to protect from wear. I walked around in them for several days while visiting in Chicago and the heel wore down significantly.
