Papermate Pens
I've always liked these particular pens. They fit comfortably in my hands and write well. One stopped working and I opened it and saw there was still ink but it was a very light blue. Not thinking I threw it away. I just came upon another one with the same thing happening 2 nights ago. I checked out the rest of the box. All the ink is dark blue but the pens that stopped working light blue. Just thought you should know.

Great pens
They don't make these anymore so there is a finite supply. Back in the day these were $5 for a box now that is doubled. They write well, no skipping or smudging. They are comfortable in the hand for both long and short writing sessions. The ink is dark and bold. The clip is plastic but sturdy some other Papermate clips break too easily. If you like this pen there is a newer cheaper model still called comfort mate available but it does not have the click mechanism just a cap.

VERY happy with this product
This is now my favorite pen. Easy to use, smooth flow, no icky spots of extra ink that smear. Worth the price!

Ok, but not first rate
These pens have been on the market for two+ decades, and while they are comfortable in hand, the ink flow does not compare favorably to more recent ballpoint pen offerings. If you value smooth flowing ink in a ballpoint, look elsewhere.

Very disappointed.. The pens are not so impressive as shown or as suggested in reviews. In fact, they charges a large amount, but they packed all in a single cartoon box. That's why all pens have rashes, scratches.. Just think, what we have invested and in return what we get... But one thing good i noticed that Amazon's support. They returned it on the next day after complained. Thanks Amazon.. But for the manufacturer, they should think of the customers, i promise I will never buy anything from this manufacturer..
