Really good for diabetics.
Dalia is good. A healthy alternative to rice for diabetics. I make upma with this dalia. Also have it for my meals as a replacement for rice Glycemic Index of Barley is +/-25 which is 1/3 of wheat I.e. 75 So definitely a good alternative for lunch. It's gluten free too. Helps lose weight too because smaller qty helps you stay full f longer duration

Barley Dalia; very healthy
Perhaps the best among traditional grains.Less expensive and better than oats in nutrition as it has more soluble fibre and beta glucan. When I opened the box, one packet was open and the grains had spilt inside. Sheer carelessness!
