Where is this makeup made?

According to the label on the box it is made in China! This product, for me, did not give me any shine or any color, I would never buy it again!

Does it work on dark African American skin?

I don't see why not. I have olive tone skin. This produce does not match skin tone but smooths out the look of your skin. Good Luck
