The right joystick on the Flyer bumper car failed. This one looked similar in size. The good: it’s working. The challenge: it’s not exactly the same size. All 4 corners are squared off on this product. On the Flybar the rear are rounded. A few careful seconds on the bench grinder and it fits great. Also there are tabs that have to be broken off with needle nose pliers before it will fit in the hole. The third issue was that the screw holes don’t line up but the screws have a very aggressive bite so by angling them 25 degrees (give or take) they went in and sunk straight and level. Be aware the switch does not automatically return to neutral position when the child leaves go of it. Conclusion: if you are willing to spend 10 minutes tweaking it then it will work. Now to let the kids take over and see for how long.

Liked this better than the one that came in the toy car. Fit perfectly, not the car goes forward and backward.

Waited nine days for it to come in I get it put it on son drives it for a day I Put it in the Garage to change the battery my son gets on it the next day does not work I can get it go backwards but not forward

Had to purchase this shifter switch to replace a defective one that came with the wiring harness I purchased from Amazon. Fortunately the seller of the harness refunded me funds to cover the purchase. This unit works and looks great but time will tell if it is made to last. It is not very stout and I fear the little ones may end up breaking it just by being kids!
