Works great and makes games feel sooo much better. Hitting turns is nothing now. Do it.

Works on PC via USB Type-B. Has a particular input range that's explained in the manual: about the first 20-30% of physical input isn't registered (mine is around 30%, which is an estimation), so 31% through 100-ish% of input is the actual 0% to 100% output in-game; not an issue for me since I can always adjust the deadzones in-game (maybe not possible for all games). Haven't confirmed stated console incompatibility since I don't use console (the hardware won't be recognized by the console, or something along those lines). Even with instructions, the tightening adjustment is confusing—I don't want to over-tighten or unscrew it completely, and would like to know on some level how far I am from either scenario, like maybe an engraved notch and number that denotes how many turns from that point is possible/allowed/recommended, etc... I think it's just that I want to know how far I can push it, and be able to adjust it with some amount of easily repeatable measurable accuracy. Mine has some hang (idk the word for it), in which if I guide it as it resets to its resting position (instead of letting go completely, I hold it, helping bring it to position); most noticeable when done slowly; total hang accounts for about 15-20-ish% of input, so it's negligible, but I still adjusted the deadzones in-game just in case. Oh yeah, assembly instructions were fun—it's only fastening the adjustable lever/handle, and installing the clamp mount system, which is grate. Would suggest a stick-on foam pad for the circular surface of the clamp, just so it isn't metal on metal/metal on wood/etc...

Bought this a few months back and after trying everything I can think of it remains literally unusable. The device looks great, solid construction, adjustability, etc. but if I try and race with it the potentiometer will *ALWAYS* register some level of engagement (meaning the brake is dragging constantly), in my case between 7-9% usually and at least a few percentage points always. The amount of engagement flickers between a few percentage points and can't be dialed out with calibration. There's an adjustment screw on the device to control the length of the throw but it does nothing to correct this problem. And, as you might guess, running with the e-brake engaged makes you a LOT slower :( I see a lot of positive reviews but my advice is to avoid this product and buy a more reputable brand. A large metal paperweight is all this is good for.

I purchased this handbrake as a sim racer because I can't justify the $200+ price tag for The Thrustmaster Sparco branded handbrake. I love thier products, and own a T300 Wheel and TH8A shifter. I just wanted a handbrake and didn't want the Sparco Branding. I read the reviews about shakey quality. There were a lot of critiques about hot glue and sloppy build quality. There have been some reviews about unmarked packaging and just general concern about quality. I received mine, and I can say it was package very well with "brand packaging". I was of the assumption that it is Aikeec brand. I can't find branding anywhere... but it was packaged well and in a nicely printed, foam insulated box. As far as slop and rattling, mine was solidly put together and had no slop or issues. When it was received I had to tighten a few bolts with the included tools. There were no concerning issues. The single page manual identified the calibration process and other possible setup problems you might encounter. There is a 1/3 dead zone that is easily fixed by tightening the center allen bolt. It works with my PC racing games without issue. It is plug and play. You do need to go into the individual game settings to fine tune how it performs. The shifter is made from CNC aluminum. The rubber handle is questionable as it is just a rubber sleeve. The carbon fiber bits are just carbon fiber textured plastic. I did change out the internal spring with the included blue spring and it firmed up the handle very well. I can't speak on the longevity of the device as I have only had it for 2 days. While using it I have been very happy with the quality. For the price point and what you are using it for, I have minimal concern over how it will last over time. On the tech side, I belive it is a hall sensor on an arduino board. Windows 10 recognized it immediately as an Oddor Handbrake. I see lots of modding opportunities for the device as far as changing springs and handles. For $90, I am not upset with this handbrake. The only reason I rate 4 out of 5 is because I cannot predict the longevity, nor can I speak to the quality of what other users have received. My experience with the device has been well above my expectations for the price point. I have tested the brake on Richard Burns Rally, Dirt Rally 2.0, and IRacing. I can confirm it works well with these titles. 4.5 stars out of 5.

I used this handbrake NOT as a handbraske but as a collective on my flight simulator setup to fly helicopters. Taking out the spring and bolt allows it to move freely. Then on one of the side guides of the unit where the slide is I took out the guide insert and put a small washer onto the bolt and reinserted the bolt. Just tighten this bolt enough to prevent any free movement but yet allows it to control lift without any jerks or sticky motion and the unit works great with fine control. So far the unit has preformed perfectly for me - Great product and good price

The handbrake was already broken after 2 gentle times using it... I contacted the seller and they refuse to send me a new one. They offered a replacement part but they were not able to send it..... bad excuse... Then they offered me a discout of 30%.... wich is absolutely ridiculous... for the combined total i would have been better off buying a way more expensive branded e-brake... NEVER BUY HERE!

I was expecting a lot less since it's much cheaper than Thrustmaster handbrake, and there is a youtube review showing how shaky this controller is. However, you don't need to worry. Pros - Works as intended. Axis input handbrake. - High build quality. Nothing shakes around. - Solid metal materials, built to last. Bonus point to their choice of sexy blue metal. - Looks great. Huge improvement over their first design. - Fast shipping. Mine arrived in a week all the way from Hong Kong. - Customizable handle length in case you can only mount it high up. Cons - Grease is too exposed. I got my face covered with grease testing this beast out for build quality. - Clamp is bit difficult to put together. I wish they made a hole on top of clamp plate so you can screw the bolt in without torturing your fingers. Overall, I don't regret buying this at all. It looks thousand times better than Thrustmaster's ugly bastard child of a handbrake and it's half the price.
