I live in an apartment, and the back door is drafty and noisy.There are people with 4 Dogs always going in and out.There are original door stripping is worn out.It’s a big commercial metal door and every time people go out and in it makes a Big bang sound.I am 80 years old and a lot of times that loud Big Bang ‼️ is disturbing to me.So I thought I would invest in new weather stripping.The stripping was Great but after I got it on it didn’t work.The door has a leaver you push to go out, when you go out the leaver has a I call a pin which comes down into a hole and that locks the door.Well after I got it all on and it looks Great it turns out when the door closes it can’t Lock.The stripping was a little too thick.So I pulled it off and threw it away.We can’t have the back door of the Apartment building unlocked.I was very disappointed .😔It was very easy to install an 80 year old lady can do it.Fit was good, Durability was Great.And the weather and sound would have been Fantastic except for the pin that locks the door.In a house it would be great.😀😀

I used this to help weather strip the battery enclosure for an electric skateboard. I needed something thin and bendable as I had to round tight corners. The adhesive is good and I was able to flex this striping exactly on the edge I needed. I know that the adhesive will not hold in place forever as there’s too much vibration in my situation, but I have several applications from this order. If you need a small gap filled around a window or door or just need something thin to prevent direct contact, this should work great for you.

Terrible product. I don't think I've ever even left a 1 star review on Google. I cleaned all the contact points on 2 door with rubbing alcohol and applied the strips. While installing the strip would break away with me gently applying. So already I know the material is bad. Well this morning both doors had pieces of this adhesive all over it. Just didn't stick. I do not recommended buying this. Search for something else. This is just a waste of money******update*******Company reached out to me and have me a refund. They recommend using a blow dryer to apply. Live in California so I needed better insulation to protect my house from all of the smoke asap and just bought at the store. Glad this company reached out though. Gave them 4 stars. Great customer service.

A literal lifesaver. I have a small gap between my wall skirt and the floorboards and for the past couple of weeks, sugar ants have been coming in from the gap and looking for food. I keep a very clean apartment and have been trying everything to get them to go away. I finally realized that I should have just closed the gap, and this weatherstripping tape was the perfect fix! It adheres well enough (and pulls off smoothly so I can remove it when I move out) and fills the gap completely. It took me a grand total of one hour to do all of the gaps in my living room, and I severely underestimated the amount of tape I would need for the whole apartment so I’ve ordered more to do the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. If you need weatherstripping tape, this one is great. And a word of advice; don’t move into basement level apartments.

Before switching to silicone weather stripping ($20 from Trademark Soundproofing) which dampens noise, light and cold, I bought three of these rolls in January 2021 (for $10) and applied it around my bedroom door frame to keep out the cold, and it performed okay. It was easy to apply and kept out some cold for a few months, but made the door much more difficult to close due to its shape, and easily tore and left behind residue when removed. I recommend this foam or Frost King if no other options are available or if they will be used temporarily, otherwise soundproofing will more than likely outperform foam and last far longer. Before switching from a hollow to a solid core door my silicone weather stripping lasted about three years and blocked out light, cold, drafts and noise, and even made the door close more quietly due to its shape. In this case I certainly got what I paid for. Nonetheless for being a temporary solution sold at a rock-bottom price, the “Yotache Foam Tape 3 Rolls Total 50 Feet Long 3/8 Inch Wide X 1/8 Inch Thick, Weather Stripping for Doors and Window High Density Foam Seal Tape Sliding Door Weather Strip, 3 X 16.5 Ft Each” gets a serviceable 3/5 stars!

Good value and works very well BUT be aware, when pulling off the white paper to expose the clear adhesive on the foam, make sure you don’t pull off the adhesive strip as well. When pulling off the white paper, one can clearly see the clear adhesive strip on the foam.

Used under the lip of an induction cooktop when mounted in cutout of granite counter. Seals perfectly.
