I have purchased these envelopes before and they have worked well for me. Not this batch! Four out of five envelopes were open at both ends. Basically the bottom was not glued. I unfortunately found this out in the middle of a project as this defect was not obvious at first glance. I had a team of volunteers placing native milkweed seeds in the envelopes to give to the public and support the monarch butterfly. We had to use scotch tape on the envelopes we had already filled and we had to stop the project as this was quite inconvenient and ugly. I would not buy this product again, wish I had not done it and would love a refund. Unfortunately, nothing can compensate for the wasted time!

These envelopes appear to be the exact same ones that others sell at a MUCH higher price. When I started shopping for some of these, I was amazed at the range of prices that were out there, both at retail and online. I went with the least expensive brand that I could find, as the application that I intend to use these for does not require precise dimensional measurements. These seem to be on par with the ones that I had before, which was a store brand that cost more than twice what these do. I ordered from a third-party seller to get the lowest price possible.

Purchased to use for the church for a special drive - able to print the information on the envelope via the computer and found that the cost of the packet of envelopes was cheaper then those found at a local store and double the amount. Will re-order if more are needed.

I bought these to store my flower seeds in, Instead of using big mailing envelopes. They work great, I can write the info about the seeds on the envelope. Like the Name, height they get, What sun they need, etc,Only down fall is the glue on them is horrible! it does not stick at all, and I have to tape each one shut.

I use these for packaging my seeds for the seed swoop and in my shop for those who desire a few doses of supplements instead of purchasing a full bottle of supplements. I purchased a seed envelope rubber stamp and found that it fits on this envelope perfectly, so at times I have stamped this envelope and filled in the blanks and sealed. They really are handy for many uses and excellent for keeping up with very small items too.

We use the envelopes to glue into the back of the books in the classroom for the home lending library. We use half of a 3x5 card to write the book information to put in the envelope. A child chooses a book, takes the card out and puts the card in his/her slot which is hanging on a board.

I use these to ship small items I sell on Amazon under the seller Tennis Advantage 360. As someone else mentioned, the glue on the flaps doesn't go all the way across, so in shipping the corners can potentially get caught in mail sorters. I use shipping labels that come 2 to a 8.5x11" sheet, so the 5.5" label helps secure the flaps in place if you position it correctly.

I use these envelopes for garden seed storage. They work very well for overwinter storage of the smaller seed from my garden. They are just the right size for labeling and final storage. Recommend them highly.

Not impressed checked 40 of them so far & each one had about 1/3 of the flap glued shut so had to pull them open. Not sure how well they will stay shut when sealed. Afraid that the whole box will be like that since 40 in a row were.
