I purchased this set of bases mainly to use indoors but wanted the flexibility to use outdoors in wet, windy conditions. I also wanted something thick enough to last and give somewhat of a feel for the base. I've only been using them for a month with a 12u baseball team and so far I'm pleased. They stay put on a gym floor, and haven't blown around in windy conditions. Light enough to be portable yet Durable. Spring weather conditions have limited most of the use to indoors with out cleats. My team uses non-metal cleats so I will be able to update this review after more usage. I'm not sure how they would hold up to metal cleats and my guess would be not well, but for my needs this set of bases works great.At this moment I would recommend this product for both indoor and outdoor use. If anything changes I will update this review.

Product is packaged well and have lasted through an entire baseball season as practice bases for my 10u little leaguer. They are used often and have even been left outside over night and into then next day with no issues.

I was looking for a set of bases that was a heavier construction. I wanted something that would hold up to a fair amount of abuse from my baseball team during practice.These have been great. They are heavy enough that they don't move around as the kids are running the bases, and after roughly 20 practices with them, I'd say they only show the expected wear of being stepped on and tossed in the dirt.

These bases are great for practice. They are thick and heavy enough to stay where you put them and do not slide out from under our players like the cheaper ones you get at other stores. BUT they are still light enough to carry around without breaking your back.A must for anyone training little ones.

Bought these for offseason workouts we have on a concrete surface. They don't seem to slide all over the place and actually have a bit of height to them so the girls can feel the base with their feet. Solid purchase.

I really like these bases as they are portable. They are definitely a little heavier but this is a good thing as there is not as much slippage as with a temporary base. I find that even 2 to 4 year old kids that I teach can slide on the bases with less weight. These are perfect for teaching base running without the headache of a kids having the base slip from under them.

Heavy duty way better than the lighter weight ones. I wanted to get something that we could take places, these are a bit heavy for that. But they stay in place when stepped on so that’s more important.

These bases were perfect to play kickball with at Easter!
